Every runDisney participant knows and reacts to these words on cue! But for a limited time, runners can dash over to Disney Springs to get a decent discount on some serious food to help replenish those calories!
We’ve seen some PRETTY big crowds recently as Disney World’s 50th anniversary has brought plenty of friends and families to the parks.

But, Disney World still has plenty of other events coming soon! And, from the looks of the Park Pass situation, you might want to book your vacation ASAP if you haven’t already!

One of the things coming back are the runDisney events! The Food and Wine Marathon Weekend WILL take place this Fall and next year’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place from January 5-9, 2022. Registration for next year’s events opens very soon, and we just found out ALL of the themes for the weekend!!
The New Year is almost upon us and we are looking forward to (what we hope) is a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!

But even though some three-day weekends and holidays tend to bring heavier crowds to Disney World, you really need to know about these more unique events if you’re trying to avoid lots of people!
Talk about some “pent-up demand!” As you’ll recall, due to the temporary closure, Disney World had to cancel its Star Wars Rival Run Weekend which was to take place in April this year.

And today, general registration (which was initially postponed) for the 2021 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend opened! But faster than the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy (a.k.a. The Millenium Falcon!), all of the spots are almost ALL GONE!
The runDisney races are running events hosted each year in Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris.

These athletic events typically sell out SUPA FAST because of how magical it can be to participate in a race through the Disney parks and around the Disney property.
