NEWS: DeSantis-appointed District Admits It Has Not Searched for Requested Documents in Disney Lawsuit

The political tête-à-tête between the Walt Disney Company and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) has largely dominated headlines since it began, and there are no signs that it will be stopping anytime soon.

While Disney has just appealed the judge’s ruling in the federal case, the state case filed by the CFTOD has continued on with less fanfare. For reference, the CFTOD lawsuit came shortly after Disney filed a lawsuit against the Board and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with the Board officially filing its own suit in May 2023 and Disney filing a countersuit in August. But now, we have an update on the CFTOD’s case against Disney.

The Internet Is DEMANDING a Disney+ Show Starring This Positively CHARMING Cast Member

The Walt Disney Company has been around for just over 100 years, and they’ve achieved a lot during that time.

The company’s first feature film was Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, which quickly branched out into multiple other feature films, TV series, characters, and more. Some Cast Members in the Disney Company are actually Disney Historians, and they get to handle the most precious cargo from the archives. Well, once you meet this Disney Historian, you may have grandparent envy because this Cast Member is SO cool!

Former Disney CFO Criticizes Bob Iger for This Big Mistake

Bob Iger’s job probably isn’t easy to begin with, but he’s got quite a tough task ahead of him: find his successor.

It’s something that we’ve been talking about ever since he first returned to Disney, and though we can’t say for certain, it doesn’t seem like Iger is any closer to finding his replacement. Plenty of speculation has gone around about who may potentially be in the running, but he’s running out of time if he’s to pick and train someone to run a giant multimedia corporation before his 2026 exit. And, a former Disney executive thinks he’s going to have a hard time doing it.

NEWS: British Actor Sues Disney Over Injury Sustained While Filming ‘Willow’

Sometimes creating movies and TV shows can be dangerous for the actors involved.

Fighting scenes and stunts can cause special safety hazards to those involved. While stunt doubles may be used, often actors will still have to engage in the more dangerous scenes. That is exactly what caused an accident in 2021 that now has a British actor suing Disney over an injury.

NEWS: Disney Files NEW Lawsuit Against DeSantis’ Reedy Creek District

We’re all pretty used to hearing about Disney in the media.

Disney gets lots of attention due to it being a massive entertainment company and having multiple divisions that it controls. In the past year or so, Disney has been in the headlines over the lawsuits they’ve filed against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, claiming he has retaliated against them for speaking out against a bill he approved. DeSantis most notably dissolved the Reedy Creek Improvement District and appointed his own governing board– the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District.

Now, Disney has filed a new lawsuit against this DeSantis-appointed district board.
