We are constantly on the hunt for new snacks around Disney World.
Of course, we have our favorite go-to snacks like Dole Whip or a Mickey Pretzel (mostly for the plastic cheese!). But, we love trying out new snacks to let YOU know if it’s worth your vacation time and money. So when we saw a new snack on the menu in Tomorrowland, we had to try it out.

TRON Lightcycle / Run at night!
TRON Lightcycle / Run is the newest coaster to open in Magic Kingdom, but you can’t just walk on it. During regular park hours, the ride is ONLY accessible via a virtual queue or Individual Lightning Lane (a.k.a. there is NO standby line). Does that change at all during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? What rules do you need to follow if you want to get on this ride during the spookiest party at Disney World? We’re breaking it all down for you.

Congrats! You’re on your way to entering the grid. You’ll soon be racing through eight Energy Gates to claim a victory against the menacing Team Orange. And, with a Virtual Queue, you won’t have to wait in a standby line, so you’ll be able to breeze right through to the ride once your group is called — right? Well, not exactly.
You might think you’ve got Disney “figured out.” You’re a Disney expert, right? You’ve been dozens of times and can walk the parks with a blindfold on. But, whether you’re a new visitor or repeat guest, there are some NEW PROBLEMS you need to be prepared for.

No, it’s not the Park Pass system (though that will be changing in 2024). And it’s not Mobile Order struggles (though some of the system has changed recently in a way that can make things easier). Today we’re tackling 2 other things that could throw you off if you’re not totally ready for them.

TRON Lightcycle / Run at night
TRON Lightcycle/Run opened in April and has been very popular. There are only two ways to ride it — Purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane or Joining the Virtual Queue. If you are planning on joining the virtual queue, you will need to move fast because the groups fill up seconds after it opens at 7AM. If you aren’t lucky enough to grab one then, the queue does reopen at 1PM for anyone currently inside the park, and we have seen this virtual queue window stay open a bit longer.
