Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar reopened at the Disneyland Hotel on July 2nd, and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Terrace surprised guests by reopening with Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Also, the new Jungle Cruise movie just had its world premiere in Disneyland with an epic red carpet event, but now there are NEW Jungle Cruise souvenirs at Trader Sam’s that you’ve gotta see!

Disney has been preparing by releasing special themed desserts, selling limited edition merch, and even hosting the premiere at Disneyland, where we saw the STARS of the movie, Emily Blunt and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson!!! And tomorrow, Disneyland is continuing the celebration by releasing some brand new limited time tiki mugs!
Disney World is still phasing out a lot of their previous health and safety guidelines, and we’re seeing more and more attractions and pre-shows return.

Trader Sam’s is BACK!
We’re still enjoying all the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival food and festivities, as well as celebrating the reopening of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (even if it’s a little hard to get in there right now). But there are a few other reopenings at Disney World we’re keeping an eye on, too — along with some menu updates!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort officially reopens to all guests today, but that’s not all there is to get excited about!

We’ve been brought you a look at all the excitement happening in the resort including a NEW Dole Whip treat (!!), brand new Moana-themed guest rooms, and more! And, while most of the restaurants (including ‘Ohana and Kona Cafe) had already reopened, there was still one fan-favorite spot that had yet to reopen with the hotel…at least, that’s what we thought… .

We’ve known about the reopening of the resort for a while now, but were left in the dark about whether or not Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar would be back any time soon…until today! Trader Sam’s officially reopened this afternoon and we, of course, got there as soon as we could to get some tiki drinks! But the line to get in got a bit crazy!
Today is the official reopening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and we’re having a blast checking everything out!

The new Moana rooms are awesome, Cast Members are handing out free POG Juice, and as a fun surprise, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has reopened! We’re heading inside now to check it out, and we’re bringing you along.

Disney Vacation Club rooms have been open, but now it’s ALL open again. We got a look at the new Moana-themed rooms, a brand new Dole Whip creation, and some free POG juice, baby! Safe to say the first day of the Poly being fully open has been exciting, and it’s about to get even BETTER because Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar is OPEN again!!!
