Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto — and the outdoor Tiki Terrace — will now open at 3:00 PM (an hour earlier than the previous 4:00 PM opening for the Grotto), with closing now moved to 12:00 midnight for the Grog Grotto and 11:00 PM for the Tiki Terrace. [Read more…]

And the refreshed Tangaroa Terrace Bar & Grill also now has an outdoor bar (!!!) — so you can get Trader Sam’s drinks without even going into the popular tiki bar!

This vibrant spot at the Disneyland Hotel offers up funky drinking vessels regularly throughout the year, including super popular (like sold out in hours on release day popular!) options like the Holiday Elephant Mug, the Nautilus (in two forms!), and the Hatbox Ghost Tiki.

The photo above (@mugs_of_disney) shows that the basic look, of course, remains the same; however, an updated color wash shows more green and a brighter red.

Okay, y’all, this is a MUST HAVE! Even if you’re not a Disney dress girl. Even if you wouldn’t dream of doing Dapper Day. IT’S A ZOMBIE HEAD BAG!
The dress itself is basically perfect for any occasion if you ask me. Wedding? Perfect. Graduation? Done. Audience with the queen? For SURE.
at Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort is an oasis of creative drinks and tiki decor. Truly: grabbing a drink here is always a fun time.

And our Disney pal Daniel (hi, @WanderDisney!) recently visited with Trader Sam and shared his thoughts on some of the bar’s drink options.
The Tropical Snowstorm is listed on the menu’s limited time, seasonsl insert, but Daniel notes that all the drinks on this page are available to order all year. (So long as the bar has the ingredients, you can get one!) The Tropical Snowstorm is Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Coconut Cream, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg!
