Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!
And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise updates to share with you and a little something to make you smile at the end. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s jump right on in!
Remember that time the Disney sea urchins were wearing Mickey ear hats?
Or the time one sea urchin was caught with TWO Mickey ear hats on at once? It’s possible that we have a bit of an obsession now — who knew these little guys could be so cute? So we stop by to check on them once in a while when we’re in EPCOT. Today, we found another sea urchin update that you absolutely need to know about.
Not too long ago, we were all gawking at the highly fashionable sea urchins of The Seas in EPCOT and their fun Mickey ears! Their mind-blowing style, which was fueled by the sea urchins’ natural instincts to find and wear anything that protects them, was the talk of the town.

However, these little guys weren’t finished! They’re back with an even BIGGER fashion statement this time!
There’s a lot going on in the Disney World parks today with the release of Genie, Genie+, and Individual Attraction Selection.
But besides these new features (which you can learn all about here), what else is new in the parks? We’re heading to EPCOT to check out some updates in new merchandise, construction, crowds, and more. Let’s go see what’s new!
? Rare character sighting! ? Sure, you can see our old pal Mickey Mouse in all four parks every day of the week, but it’s not too often that he straps on his oxygen tank and dives into a fish tank!
We were lucky enough to catch Scuba Mickey over in EPCOT today, and we thought we’d bring you along to come and say hello!
Greetings from EPCOT!
We’re here to tell you all about everything NEW in EPCOT, from food, construction, merchandise, and more! Let’s get started!
Hello from EPCOT!
We’ve been wandering around the park soaking up the Flower and Garden Festival and enjoying the Pride Month snacks — and today, we made a pit stop at The Seas Pavilion! You may know this area as home to The Seas with Nemo and Friends ride…but did you know there’s also a MASSIVE aquarium? And when we popped in, we noticed quite the scene unfolding.
Navigating your way around Disney World can be pretty tough right now.
Even if you’re a seasoned Disney expert, a lot of things have changed in the parks, especially if you haven’t visited recently. Due to social distancing requirements, many lines stretch can FAR away from their ride entrances. At some stores and other spots, you may find that the back entrance you ALWAYS used to use is now shut and there are more limited entrances and exits.
So, recently we developed a handy-dandy map to help you easily maneuver your way around Magic Kingdom, and now we’ve made a similar map for EPCOT! This might just be the BEST map you’ll use during your upcoming trip.
When people come up with their absolute “must do” activities at Disney World, most travelers think of things like riding Space Mountain, watching the fireworks, and enjoying a delicious Dole Whip.
But in addition to these fan-favorite attractions and activities, there’s an entire world of unique and perhaps a bit bizarre things you can do at Disney World! Follow along for 10 of the best!
Do you consider yourself to be quite the Disney World buff? Can no one else hold a candle to your wisdom of Walt and all things mouse-related??
Well then, it’s time to put your Disney knowledge to the test!
