It seems an opening date for Terralina Crafted Italian in Disney Springs is soon to be announced, as evidenced by the new presence of the full menu for the spot on the Disney Springs website!

The space directly next to Paddlefish in The Landing of Disney Springs formerly operated as Portobello Country Italian Trattoria. When it reopens as Terralina Crafted Italian, it will still feature the cuisine of James Beard Award Winner Chef Tony Mantuano, while Chef Justin Plank will run the kitchen.

You read that right… FIFTEEN!! A few of these locations opened in late 2017, such as BaseLine Tap House in Hollywood Studios and the Ale & Compass Restaurant, so you can enjoy them right now. But many are still to come, like Jaleo, Terralina Crafted Italian, and the VERY soon-to-open Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar. But we do know a few things about this new restaurant coming soon to Disney Springs! Terralina is replacing what was once Portobello Country Italian Trattoria. Fortunately, Chef Tony Mantuano — James Beard Award Winner — is returning from Portobello to create Terralina’s menu, and will be joined once more by Chef Justin Plank who will run the kitchen.

Carb Loading Tips: Experts say the best carbs for increasing those super-important glycogen stores come from starchy carbohydrates like pasta, bread, rice, and potatoes. You should also have some protein alongside your carbs. Try to avoid sugary options, such as fruit and baked goods.
So let’s take a look at a few of our favorite carb-tastic treats!
When planning for an early morning race, it’s at dinner the night before where you’ll truly pack your energy stores. And when it comes to starchy carbs, everyone knows the king of eats is pasta!

Epcot‘s Italy is THE place to find incredible dishes that will help you distribute your energy throughout the race.
My first pick? Definitely Via Napoli. This place has incredible pizza, but the pasta selection is fresh and delicious as well.
Be warned that the options here are baked and tend toward the heavier side, so you may want to make a few special orders to lighten them up a bit.

Next door to Via Napoli you’ll find the more upscale Tutto Italia. You can’t go wrong with either location when carb-loading.
