Moments ago we shared with you the news that Disney World launched a new Annual Passholder webpage with new information on the reservation system.
There was another HUGE bit of information on this page that we thought we’d share. While Disney mentioned “soft openings” in their proposal, they did not specify who would have early access to the parks.
Now that Disney World’s theme parks have proposed a reopening date of July 11th and July 15th, several Disney World hotels have also confirmed they’ll be reopening starting in June for Disney Vacation Club Members.
The purchasing of park tickets and hotel reservations has been temporarily paused while Disney World prepares its new reservation system, but we did just receive an email from Disney with additional information for DVC guests.

Calling all animal lovers! After our early morning escapades at World of Disney, we stopped by Pandora today to see what was new and EXCITING!
We haven’t seen any new charms here since the temporary closure last March. We were ALSO on the lookout for any new safety measures Pandora has also implemented since reopening last week!
While we now know Disney World won’t reopen with parades, firework displays, or character meet and greets, more new details are emerging.
Since Disney World’s proposal took place this morning, we’re learning about more modifications that are being made to guests’ experiences upon the theme park’s reopening. First reported by WDWMagic.com, Cast Members employed at Disney World are being informed about a few details that weren’t shared earlier.
Earlier today, Disney World presented its reopening plan to Florida’s Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force.
The proposed plan has been initially approved by Mayor Jerry Demings and has been sent to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. If given the go-ahead, select Disney World theme parks will begin to reopen to the public starting on July 11th, with the remaining parks set to open on July 15th.
We’ve been filling you in on all the latest happenings now that several stores and restaurants have started to reopen at Disney Springs since last week!
And while you probably thought our coverage of World of Disney’s grand reopening was a pretty big deal today — we’re following an even BIGGER story (we think so at least!).
Now that Disney World has announced it plans on reopening Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11th along with Epcot and Hollywood Studios on July 15th, we also know some of the modifications the parks are planning on implementing.
According to Disney’s reopening proposal which took place this morning, Disney World’s theme parks will temporarily suspend its parades, fireworks displays, or character meet-and-greets upon reopening.
As you may know, World of Disney is reopening in Disney Springs this morning along with the first few Disney-owned properties that have been closed since mid-March.
And while we await Disney World’s reopening proposal which is also scheduled to take place this morning, Disney Store locations have just posted several guidelines of the new health and safety precautions they will be implementing upon their reopening.
