Hello, everyone, from EPCOT!
We took a walk around the World Showcase and the rest of the park to see what’s going on, so here’s what’s new!
We’ve seen a LOT of malfunctions in the Disney World parks this year.
We’ve seen José break down on the Gran Fiesta Tour, Elsa forget the words to her signature song, and most recently, we saw Buzz Lightyear go speechless. We can’t blame them, it’s been a pretty tough year for sure. Today, yet another Disney attraction is having issues — Spaceship Earth!
Thank the Phoenicians, because this might be the best kitchen accessory we’ve seen recently!
We’ve got shopping on our minds as the holiday season gets closer. No wonder we’ve hunted down all the Disney discounts we can! Well, if you’re looking to add a little EPCOT to your kitchen, we’ve got GOOD news!
The global health crisis may have caused some delays, but that hasn’t stopped the EPCOT Transformation from progressing. One major delay was to the upcoming refurbishment on Spaceship Earth.
This major refurb is set to introduce a new narration, new focus, and new scenes. Of course, it was delayed indefinitely due to the global health crisis, so we have NO idea when the attraction might close. Still, a new permit might point to some refurb work!
We’re old enough to remember a lot of EPCOT attractions that are, sadly, no longer with us (and yes, Body Wars still makes us nauseous just thinking about it, but wasn’t it fun?). And we even remember some of the present attractions that used to be a lot different!
So we’ve decided to memorialize some of these classic EPCOT attractions with our brand new DFB mask collection! And these masks are all now available in our DFB Store!
Rain or shine, it’s always fun to take a walk around EPCOT and see what’s new!
From new items available at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival to a whole line of Fish & Chips MERCH in the United Kingdom pavilion(!!), come with us on a trip around the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow to see what new things we spotted!
Disney World looks pretty different than it did back when it opened in 1971.
Over the years, Disney has added three more parks, two water parks, and a TON of new attractions. Still, the World as a whole doesn’t just look different — a few iconic attractions look pretty different too! We’re taking a look at some of the BIGGEST attraction renovations in Disney history! Do you remember the VERY different OG versions of these rides? Let’s find out!
Last year, Disney announced EPCOT would be undergoing a multi-year transformation.
The park would ultimately be divided into four distinct “neighborhoods”: World Celebration, World Nature, World Discovery, and World Showcase. Many shops, restaurants, and experiences located in Future World were closed or relocated shortly before the temporary closures occurred.
We’ve been scouting out how shopping, dining, and transportation has changed at Walt Disney World.
Now, what do people look forward to the most when they come to Disney? (Well, besides the food.) The rides, of course! What’s Disney World without Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, and Pirates of the Caribbean? It’s a huge, empty land filled only with Mickey Pretzels and churros. Actually, that doesn’t sound too bad. 😉 Nevertheless, we checked out a few of the most popular attractions at all four parks and are reporting back on ALL the updates. [Read more…]
It’s only August, but we’re already getting ready for 2021.
Recently, we found a 2021 calendar in EPCOT, and now we’ve found a NEW 2021 calendar in Magic Kingdom! If you’re a fan of Disney Parks posters, you’ll definitely want to check this one out!
