If there’s one thing we LOVE to do during a busy day in Disney World, it’s stop for a little coffee break! Even though the lines at Starbucks can get pretty long around lunchtime, that much-needed hit of caffeine is such a lifesaver on vacation.

We’ll admit we’re a little jealous of Disneyland because of Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, especially now that the land is about to get even bigger with an expansion that will include two new rides.

You can even meet all your favorite Marvel characters there, too, which is not something you can do in Disney World (and we’ve gone over why that is a few times). Well, a new Marvel movie, Captain America: Brave New World, is about to drop and now Disneyland is getting some AMAZING Marvel food (and yep, we’re still jealous). But one of these new snacks has us wondering if Disney didn’t just embrace the pizza pocket in honor of the new movie.

But we have to talk about something VERY important, and by very important, we mean FOOD. So if you’re going to Disney World, you may have already purchased the Disney Dining Plan with your vacation package. When we visit Disney Springs, we’re on a mission. We’re there to see the hot new merchandise at the World of Disney Store. We’re there to snag a spot in line at Gideon’s Bakehouse. We’re there to enjoy a meal at Homecomin’. What’s the one store we tend to skip? Goofy’s Candy Company. Sorry, Goofy! But when there are so many AMAZING sweets and treats in Disney Springs, it’s easy to overlook this candy shop. Well, that’s about to change.

Recently, we stopped by Disney Springs and were SHOCKED to learn that — of all places — Goofy’s Candy Company was filled with Disney fans! There was one thing flying off the shelves, and you’ll never be able to guess the hot new souvenir.
It’s February — and you know what that means. Well, it means we’re getting a lot of new snacks in Disney World as part of Celebrate Soulfully, Disney’s Black History Month celebration. But we’re also getting a lot of Valentine’s Day snacks.

BUT…the beginning of a new month also signifies some brand-new cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, and y’all know how we’re ALL about those cookies. So, we’re going to take a look at the cookie and cake lineup for February to see what’s happening at Gideon’s this month!
Okay, if you’ve been following DFB for a while, you know we’ve got a pretty hefty list of our favorite snacks in Disney World.

We will NEVER stop talking about Cheeseburger Pods in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora (seriously, NEVER). We will keep telling you that we will always order the Bread Service at Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and literally make a meal out of it. We will always sing the praises of Mini Corn Dogs (we still call ’em Corn Dog Nuggets) from Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom with that PLASTIC CHEESE. Wait…you know what else we love that goes great with plastic cheese? Mickey pretzels — and it seems TV journalist, talk show host, and author Tamron Hall agrees with us.
