Move over Casey’s Corner corn dog nuggets — the BIG (corn) DOGS have arrived at Magic Kingdom’s Sleepy Hollow Refreshments!
Disney fans will remember when the hand-dipped corn dog came over to Sleepy Hollow in 2017. Sadly, after a short stint it was taken off the menu. We’re glad to say the corn dog is back and bigger than ever (just not hand-dipped this time)! This thing is seriously HUGE — it’s almost as tall as Cinderella Castle!
Have you ever wanted to just be able to walk onto popular Hollywood Studios attractions like Slinky Dog Dash, Tower of Terror, and Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster with no wait? How about being able to do that while eating all of the popcorn, soda, and Mickey bars you can possibly hold?
Sounds like a dream, right? Well, guess what: it’s actually exactly what happens at After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We’re here to tell you all about it, including our thoughts and how to determine if these events are a good investment for you. Ready? As Slinky Dog says, “hold on!”
The Flurry of Fun at Walt Disney World’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios might as well be called Flurry of Deliciousness because with the holiday festivities also came a ton of exciting holiday treats! Believe it or not, there are so many fantastic eats and drinks that we created the DFB’s exclusive Flurry of Fun Food Checklist.
Yeah, we take our snacking pretty seriously. 😉
But now we need to break it down. Because if you’re trying to eat your way through the Disney Parks this year, you’ll have to roll yourself home. (Trust us, we know.) And that’s why you’ve got us!
This is one Flurry of Fun treat that you don’t want to miss if you’re an egg nog fan — and believe us when we say that it was a bit of a surprise! Panna Cotta that’s not done well tends to give us milk jello vibes, and that’s not a good thing. But the Egg Nog Panna Cotta from Catalina Eddie’s was a good example of panna cotta done right.
The panna cotta itself is creamy and really carries that egg nog flavor. The tart raspberries are a phenomenal counterpart, and we also loved the bits of cranberry on top. It’s a dessert that’s both comfortable and classy. Get this!
Happy Holidays from the Grand Californian at Disneyland Resort, where the gorgeous and festive gingerbread house stands tall and where guests can pick up loads of Holiday Treats in the lobby!
The pastry chefs at the Grand Californian aren’t messing around with their holiday offerings; the list of treats is small but mighty! You’ll find classic gingerbread alongside whoopie pies and truffles. Yup: there’s something for everyone!
We’re loving the abundant (and we mean abundant — three snack checklists worth!) holiday eats and drinks at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. We found the brand new Sugar Plum Churro at the snack cart by Haunted Mansion!
Disney California Adventure Park’s Paradise Garden Grill
is always game for a food celebration, and Halloween Time is no exception! As was the case for Pixar Fest and last year’s Dia de los Muertos, the menu here is an ode to Coco and features flavors from south of the border!
Welcome to Halloween Time at the Grand Californian Hotel, where the lobby’s treat cart is now listed as an official Disneyland Resort dining locale! It’s called the Grand Californian Hotel Holiday Cart, and right now, it’s packed with spooky, cute eats!
Fun eats include a Halloween Mickey Whoopie Pie, a Chocolate-Dipped Pretzel Stick Trio, and a Halloween Cookie Box!
at Disneyland Resort is offering a sweet treat for Halloween Time — and it combines churros and cereal! Here’s the Churro Bites Cereal Sundae!
If that sounds like an awesome combination of words, imagine how great it is in reality! These are fruity-cereal dusted churro bites, sugary glaze, a scoop of fruity ice cream, some raspberry sauce, and a smattering of fruity cereal! [Read more…]
One of the greatest attributes of Walt Disney World is its location
because even when the rest of the country is ensconced in winter, central Florida is typically still warm (and in the summer it’s downright tropical!). And you know what that means: lots of frozen treats to eat and drink!
We’ve had ’em all — and there are some old favorites and some NEW options we’re pretty sure you’re going to want to get your hot little hands on!
First up, as you make your way down Main Street, U.S.A., pop into Casey’s Corner. It’s there you can find the Mint Julep Lemonade Slushy! This family-friendly drink is a terrific mixture of sweet and sour — with that refreshing slushy texture and temperature!
