Yes, you heard that right. Our server lit our meal on fire!
We love sipping wine, snacking on appetizers, and sitting by the campfire. We love it even more when that fire is on our dish in front of us!

We talk a LOT about food here on Disney FOOD Blog, because, well, it kinda’ comes with the territory.
Although we go on and on about our favorites like Corn Dog Nuggets and PLASTIC Cheese, Mickey Beignets, Cheeseburger Pods, and more, we wanted to let you know about some of those things you may not know that you can eat in Disney World. So it’s time to set that Mickey Bar aside (we’re kidding!) and make a list of OTHER things you can eat in Disney World you didn’t know about!
There are a LOT of restaurants in Disney World, and especially over at Disney Springs.
Picking what spots you want to visit during your Disney trip can be quite the undertaking when there are so many to pick from. That’s why we make it our job to stop by Disney’s restaurants over and over again to sample their items and see whether a breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner there is worth the cost. (Tough work eating all of that food, but someone’s gotta do it!) Recently we made our way over to one of the Disney Springs spots that nearly EVERYONE says is practically perfect — Wine Bar George. Does this restaurant still live up to the hype and should you visit? Let’s dive into our review and find out!
Ready for some holiday fun at Disney Springs?
Main Christmas Tree
The Christmas tree stroll is up, Santa’s driving by in his boat(!), and there’s lots of holiday merchandise available. We’ve even tried some festive treats from here already, but now we’ve got a FULL list of all the holiday eats that will be available at Disney Springs (and there’s a LOT)!
There is certainly NO shortage of places to eat at Disney World. 400 restaurants. 400!!
Disney World
But of all the quick service spots, grab-and-go food items, and table service restaurants, Wine Bar George is one of our FAVORITE places to eat, not just at Disney Springs but in ALL of Walt Disney World! And…interestingly, that’s something that just about everybody agrees with. That NEVER happens. So here’s why this restaurant seems to be universally perceived as practically perfect!
Disney Springs officially reopened May 20th!
While third-party restaurants and stores originally opened to guests first, Disney-owned locations have also started welcoming guests back. And, that means there is still plenty to do and eat while you’re visiting!
What’s not to love about some hot, melty cheese??
If there was a hall of fame for food, queso would be a shoo-in! Need to know where you can find some cheesy goodness on your next trip to Disney World? We’ve got you covered! Here’s where you need to go when you’re in a state of QUESO-EMERGENCY!
You never know what you’ll find at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs!
Which is probably why we hang out there so often — and try to catch all their latest tasty offerings! On our most recent visit, we discovered Wine Bar George had added some new small plates, entrées, AND had updated their beer and cocktail menu with almost entirely new stuff!
