We’ve been trying ALL the Disney holiday snacks and desserts this week!
But because we love food, we obviously didn’t stop there. We stopped by Disney’s Riviera Resort today to check out what holiday snacks they had to offer!
Ever since Disney’s Riviera Resort opened in December 2019, the rooftop restaurant Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera has become one of our must-do resort restaurants.
Now you can enjoy one of the signature desserts from Topolino’s in your own home, with this recipe for the Warm Chocolate Cake with Molten Raspberry-Caramel Center!
Love it or hate it, candy corn is pretty much one of the most iconic Halloween treats. And here at DFB, we just happen to be a fan of all things candy corn.
And we’ve tried a lot of amazing candy corn treats, including candy corn cotton candy, candy corn margaritas, and even candy corn milkshakes!
Coffee! That’s a word that always gets us excited, and if you haven’t noticed, we love when new flavors and blends of coffee turn up (did someone say gingerbread?).
So you can imagine how thrilled we were to discover that Joffrey’s had announced a brand new blend dedicated to Walt Disney World’s Riviera Resort.
UPDATE: Disney has updated the reopening list to reflect that Bar Riva WILL be reopening with Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Walt Disney World is preparing to re-open this week while many of the Disney hotels are already open and operational. Some restaurants will modify the dining experience while others are not set to re-open until further notice.
Disney’s Riviera Resort was one of the Disney resorts to re-open first. Here, we got our first taste of what it is like experiencing character dining under the new conditions. As operations continue to update we noticed that one of the resorts onsite bars has been removed from Disney’s list of available dining locations.
We are BACK in the Disney World hotels today and things look a little different!
Select Disney World restaurants are open today with modifications. Though most character dining is suspended for the time being, there is ONE character meal that is still available at Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast à la Art. We’re taking a look at all the ways character dining is DIFFERENT now.
If meeting characters in Disney World is a priority for your family, we highly recommend you consider booking at least one character dining experience. The main benefit of character dining is pretty significant: you don’t have to wait in long lines to meet multiple characters.
And if you want to meet the Big Cheese — Mickey Mouse himself — during your meal, you have a few great options both in the parks and at the resorts. He even has a different outfit at each of the character dining restaurants, so he’ll always have a unique look no matter which restaurant you pick! But how do you choose WHICH character meal to book? Let’s run through them here and see which meals are 100% worth it and which are totally skippable.
Disney World can sure be pricey, but that doesn’t mean you have to shell out all of your hard-earned cash to have a blast!
Are you looking to save money on dining next time you go to Disney World? Or do you need some creative, DIY hacks to recreate some special events that would otherwise end up costing your family hundreds of dollars?
We have a few tips today on how you can still enjoy the “finer things in life” while on vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Despite the parks being closed, there are a ton of NEW and exciting things in the works as well as very recent additions to the parks that we can’t wait to check out!
From new rides and attractions to the latest and greatest in Disney World dining, there will be plenty to see and do when we get to return to the parks. Here are 13 new things that we can’t wait to do when Disney World reopens.
Bar Riva at the Riviera Resort has quickly become one of our favorite pool bars in Disney World! We enjoy coming in here for a little toast of sangria or two, and their Baked Brie totally stole a piece of our hearts!
But if you were nervous about taking your kids with you because they wouldn’t enjoy it, don’t worry. They recently added some new menu items for the kiddos to snack on.
