Well, the day we’ve been waiting for is here and Rise of the Resistance is open in Hollywood Studios!
Though you might have a bit of trouble getting on the ride today if you’re not already in a boarding group!:( This attraction has been highly anticipated since the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge so demand is pretty high for the new ride. We got to take a spin on it already and we have the inside scoop on what to expect, BUT you might be surprised but there are actually TWO slightly different ride experiences, and we think one might be a little better than the other.
You’ve FINALLY planned the Disney World trip of your dreams. You’ve got a list a mile long about the rides to go on, the treats to eat, and the characters to meet. At the top of your ride list is the ever-popular Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios. But how do you get on the ride? Is there a height limit? What safety info should you know? We’ve got you covered!
We already shared with you our Rise of the Resistance reviews (read both our spoiler-free and spoiler-alert versions here!) but we also know you’ve got A LOT of questions about this popular ride, so we’re here to answer them ALL!
? Warning, though — there may be RIDE SPOILERS here so proceed with caution if you’re looking to be surprised!
Today is the day, folks!
Rise of the Resistance is FINALLY open to the public! We got to check this awesome ride out yesterday for ourselves, but we’re back and keeping an eye on crowds and how the ride is holding up on opening day. But if you were hoping to get to the park and jump in line to ride, today is not your day.
Rising Moons, friends! The day we’ve been waiting for is ALMOST HERE!
TOMORROW (December 5th) guests coming from galaxies far, far away (or, just next door) will be able to experience the newest ride in Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Rise of the Resistance!
Calling all Resistance fighters to Batuu!
Will you be joining the fight for the Resistance – or will you side with the First Order? Those are the paths you can choose with the NEW Rise of the Resistance jobs that will become available on the Disney Play app starting December 5, 2019 in Disney World! Coinciding with the opening of the Rise of the Resistance ride in Hollywood Studios (coming “tomorrowwww, tomorrowwww!!”), this new addition will be coming to the Star Wars: Datapad on the Disney Play app, and we are SO excited to see what it entails!
Can you believe Rise of the Resistance is almost FINALLY OPEN?!?!
And even though the Star Wars: Galaxy Edge major headliner doesn’t officially open until tomorrow in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, we got to take our first ride on it TODAY!
We’re just a few days away from the opening of what promises to be an experience unlike any other! Rise of the Resistance, the flagship attraction for Galaxy’s Edge, is scheduled to open on December 5th in Disney World (January 17th in Disneyland). That’s SO soon, my people!
For a while, Disney has shared that this will be an attraction unlike any other and friends we’re super ready to check it out! Since this attraction is opening VERY soon, we’d thought we’d share all of the NEED to know information about Rise of the Resistance!
Hold onto your droids, everybody — December 5th is almost here!
That’s right — Rise of the Resistance is ALMOST OPEN! And while Disney’s told us this will be the MOST EPIC attraction they’ve ever built, we’ve only seen a few sneak peeks inside the ride so far!
