Disney Vacation Club just announced a NEW hotel that will be opening in 2027!
Getting to stay at a Disney World hotel is a pretty special experience.
There’s nothing like the immersion and the convenience to really get you into the swing of your Disney World vacation. That being said, not every room in a Disney hotel is created equal! So let’s talk about a couple of rooms you’ll want to beware of for your next stay at a Disney World hotel!
Disney World has been a constant hive of activity for a while now.
We’ve seen attractions open, a bunch of major park expansions coming over the next few years, and even new hotel additions. So, needless to say, there are a whole host of things to look forward to on your next trip to Disney World. Speaking of something to look forward to, if you’re going to be staying at a Disney World hotel in December, you’re in luck because there are 3 hotels that will have brand new rooms you can stay in!
Are you planning an upcoming trip to Disney World?
The planning process involves so much, like booking travel, purchasing park tickets, and finding a hotel that is the right fit for you and your party. It is no secret that prices on select food items and even annual passes have gone up at Disney World. While these price increases are not ideal, if you are looking to save a little extra cash for your next hotel stay, we have some good news for you!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter has been getting a bit of a refresh recently, and these changes have been a long time coming.
The room refurbishments currently going on at this hotel have been happening since May, and we’ve slowly seen the new rooms open back up to guests (you can check out a full room tour here!). But, just when we thought this project was close to being completed, Disney goes and delays the completion.
When it comes to planning a trip to Disney World, sometimes the hardest decision to make is where you’re going to stay!
And if you’ve been keeping up with Disney World’s hotel renovations, you’ve probably noticed a trend. Disney really has been leaning hard into sleek, modern designs that can feel a bit more like you’re staying at a chic downtown hotel and less like you’re in the middle of the most magical place on earth. So, if you’re missing the bold Disney flair and character details that once dominated the rooms, don’t worry! Let’s talk about a couple of Disney World hotels where you can escape the contemporary designs and dive right into all the nostalgia and whimsy you crave! [Read more…]
With more than 25 hotels, it can be a bit of a challenge trying to pick which Disney World hotel for your next trip to Disney World.
Also, you have three different tiers — Value, Moderate, Deluxe — and all the various amenities that come with each. And on top of that, Disney’s been doing a lot of renovations, so maybe the resort you want to choose, might be in the middle of a multi-year renovation project. Speaking of renovations, there’s one Disney World hotel that is just about to finish a multi-month renovation project in November and Disney has shared how those remodeled rooms look. Well, let’s just say that the finished product has fans divided. You shared your thoughts on the rooms, so let’s talk about!
We have a confession to make: we kinda love Disney World hotel food courts.
You know the ones — they’re often found at Value hotels and the occasional Moderate resort, and while on the surface they may not seem too exciting, we love them for the sheer variety of foods you can find. There’s almost always something for just about anyone! But lately, one of our favorite food courts has been under refurbishment — and it’s now partially back open!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter has been getting some updates recently, and we are excited to take you along to see some of the changes!
This New Orleans inspired resort is full of Mardi Gras spirit year-round, and we are taking you all along with us as we stay in a newly renovated room!
A construction project at Disney World was expected to be finished today, but it is lasting longer than expected.
