We cannot wait to chow down on some Disneyland favorites, check out our favorite rides, and more! While you’re in Disneyland, you’ll probably want to capture ALL of those special memories, take some great PhotoPass photos, and maybe download those on-ride images. And now Disney has a NEW PhotoPass package for you to buy so you can do just that!
Can you believe that Disneyland opens this week?
Disneyland
On April 30th the theme park will reopen to California residents, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the park after over a year of closures! Tonight, Disneyland hosted a live stream to celebrate the historic reopening!
Although it may not be the most thrilling ride at Disney World, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is a serious fan favorite! So you can imagine everyone’s worry and fear when this leisurely trip around Tomorrowland didn’t reopen with the park last summer. Since then, we watched in agony as its closure was extended again and again (and again, and again).
To be honest, there was a time when we thought the PeopleMover was completely DOOMED, destined to follow in the footsteps of its west coast counterpart. But thanks to an announcement from the President of Walt Disney World, Jeff Vahle, we finally learned that the PeopleMover WOULD be moving people once again! And that day is today, friends.
It’s been well…a YEAR for everyone, but especially for Disney World’s PeopleMover. The Magic Kingdom attraction closed over a year ago and we’re still waiting for it to reopen.
Patiently waiting…
The reopening was delayed, then delayed again, and then delayed AGAIN. But earlier this week, Disney announced that the ride would be up and running “late this weekend.”
Oh, PeopleMover…how we’ve missed you.
Soon!
The PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom has been closed for over a year now, and we’ve been (not so) patiently waiting for one of our favorite rides at Disney World to reopen. And the reopening has been delayed over…and over…and over again. We were starting to think the PeopleMover was DOOMED.
Disney World is continuing with its phased reopening!
Recently, we’ve seen several restaurants servin’ up great eats again, and we’ve even got reopening dates for a few Disney World hotels! And now, we’ve got MORE big news: Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has an official reopening date!
Disneyland is reopening SOON, and boy have we been busy getting ready!
We’ve already walked you through how to book your tickets, make your Park Pass reservations, reserve a hotel room, and book dining. Phew! But you’ll notice that our experiences all had one thing in common…and it’s a HUGE tip if you’re trying to snag your spot in Disneyland ASAP.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are set to reopen in just a few days!
We’ve already gotten quite a lot of details about what rides and restaurants will reopen with the parks and who will be allowed to visit the parks (only California residents for now), and we’ve even shared a look at some BIG menu changes coming to some Disneyland spots. But, now we’re another step closer to the reopening — Disneyland dining reservations are now available!!
Can you believe that Disneyland is reopening in a little over a week?
Disneyland
Now, obviously, things will be a little different in Disneyland from before it closed last year, and one of the biggest changes will be that the park will only be open to guests who are California residents. But there have been some questions raised about the state’s guidelines regarding this residency requirement.
