We’re talking new shows, exclusive experiences just for little ones, both water parks open at the same time (finally), and even more characters out and about. Whether you’ve got tiny Mouseketeers in tow or you’re just looking to try something new, this summer’s going to bring a bunch of fresh reasons to visit. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming, what to look out for, and why now might be the best time to start planning.

Double the chances to cool off, enjoy the water rides, and relax by the water. This summer, you will have choices regarding which Disney World water park you want to visit.
If you’re heading to Disney World soon and haven’t been in a while, you might be surprised to see some of the CHANGES taking place in the parks.
American Adventure
The TRON coaster is nearing completion in Magic Kingdom, there’s new audio on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and construction on the Moana attraction in EPCOT is moving along. Recently, another Disney show saw some changes and we’re going to explore it now.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Kona Cafe closed at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort back in August with no set reopening date in sight. Recently, we noticed that the Disney World website was showing available times for Kona Cafe starting November 1st, though that reopening date had not officially been announced. Now we’ve got an update!
It’s been two years since Disney World reopened, but there are still several things that haven’t returned to the park.

However, we’re seeing many of those things finally returning just over the last few months, from the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue to Victoria & Albert’s Restaurant to Minnie Vans. Now, ANOTHER popular thing has officially reopened in Disney World: the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

The Finding Nemo Show Has Opened!
Of course, that’s not always a bad thing. For example, Disney World recently welcomed back the reimagined Finding Nemo show, the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet at Adventurers Outpost, and the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. But the fun doesn’t stop there, as we’re about to see many more changes around the parks.
