That’s how we felt when we found this dessert at Walt Disney World’s All-Star Music Resort. We all know Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and there are tons of pink and red treats to stuff your face with at the parks. We tried this incredible chocolate cupcake, a twist on one of our favorite Hollywood Studios desserts, a wedding ring cake, and more! However, nothing could have prepared us for the Mickey and Minnie Waffle Bouquet. You read that right. A bouquet. Of Mickey waffles.

Perhaps this shortage is no big surprise since we have seen supply chain issues impacting everything from beef to various merchandise items in the parks. You may have already experienced the consequences of this shortage if you tried to make cheesecake this holiday season and were met with disappointment at the grocery store, or maybe you were living blissfully unaware of this national tragedy. Regardless, the cream cheese shortage is causing a nationwide stir, and it’s going to start affecting one popular Disney World snack.

One of our favorite views (the waffle, that is?)

You’ve got the standard Mickey waffles, the GIANT Mickey waffles, the waffle sandwiches from Sleepy Hollow, the Simba waffles at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and more. While Mickey waffles are probably the most popular variety, there is a place in Disney Springs that makes some pretty good waffles, too — and they just got a new flavor!

In addition to yummy cookies and cakes, Gideon’s has cold brew coffee, and more. Gideon’s Bakehouse has also served up cake dips in the past (which taste great, but look…interesting) and today cake dips are BACK with a special flavor!
