It’s no secret that California Grill is one of our FAVORITE fine dining restaurants at Disney World. Located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant has a 3-course meal that makes us hungry just thinking about it.

September is Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, and Disney is celebrating.
Mirabel at Disneyland
The celebration begins in Disney World on September 15th and runs through October 15th. For the celebration, Mirabel and Bruno will be coming to Magic Kingdom. Disney will also be celebrating with 54 more new offerings, and now, there’s a treat you can make at home!
We’re big fans of Disney’s Encanto, and we’ve always wanted to try one of Mirabel’s mom’s famous arepas. The healing powers were a plus, but we also just wanted to try that tasty traditional Colombian food!
Luckily, our dreams of getting a bite of one of the Madrigal family’s arepas are finally coming true! How do you even begin a task like this? Well, we’ll tell you! [Read more…]
We love that Disney has food options for everyone, even those with food allergies and sensitivities.
Table service restaurants are typically better at accommodating than quick service locations, and chefs will even come out to speak with your table about the allergens! If you’re someone who eats a plant-based diet, you’ll love that you can now make one popular plant-based Disney dessert at home!
We love a good throwback, and this time, we’re throwing it as far back as we possibly can…to opening day of Walt Disney World!

How did you celebrate Dole Whip Day on July 20th?
We spent Dole Whip Day in the parks (of course), with one thing on our mind: Dole Whip. In the past, we’ve enjoyed TONS of Dole Whip-inspired treats. One of our absolute favorite Dole Whip Snacks, though, is the Dole Whip Cupcake — and y’all, Disney just released the recipe so that we can make it at home! Oh, happy day!
If you have a sweet tooth, this one was meant for you.
What’s better than Ghirardelli Chocolate and the Castle?
We all have our favorite Disney treats that can satisfy our sweet tooth. We love chocolate and it’s hard to say no to Disney sweets. Especially if they come from Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop in Disney Springs! Well, Ghirardelli just gave us a gift that keeps giving and we’ve got another Disney recipe for you.
Are you looking for a new way to bring some Disney magic home with you? We’ve got just the thing.
Disney celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month this year with lots of limited-time eats and treats around the parks and hotels. During the celebration, you could try the Korean Fried Chicken Bowl with Cucumber Namasu at Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but since it was a specialty offering, it’s no longer available. If you’re sad to see that snack go, don’t worry! You can make the dish at home with this new Disney recipe! [Read more…]
This month is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Disney has been giving us ways to celebrate.
Pad Thai Fizz
Disney has rolled out some special characters, live entertainment, and merchandise to celebrate the month. Of course, there are 10 NEW snacks that are inspired by these cultures like the Pad Thai Fizz drink. But if you aren’t able to make it to Disney World this month, D23 is giving you a special way to celebrate at home.
