It’s never too early to start planning a Disney World vacation. In fact, we’ve even warned our readers to AVOID visiting the Disney parks all the way in 2028. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Instead, let’s look at 2024. There are some BIG things happening in Disney World next year (like the return of the famous Disney Dining Plan, the removal of the park pass reservation rule, and much more). But now that revenge travel seems to be over, are tons of people still going to Disney World?
Disney’s Grand Floridian
We asked our readers on Facebook if they had any trips planned for Disney World in 2024. Did we get a resounding “NO.“? Were our comments flooded with the word “YES!“? Let’s find out!
In the past, the possibilities were endless. You could wake up on a random, sunny Saturday, hop in the car, and purchase a Disney World ticket. Then, you could stroll into whatever park you wanted.
Yep, back in the good ol’ days you could actually be spontaneous when it came to Disney World visits. Since COVID-19 ruined a lot of fun things for a while back in 2020, Disney had to come up with a way to limit the amount of guests in each park for social distancing reasons once the parks reopened. Thus, the Park Pass Reservation System was born. Except… it never went away once COVID-19 restrictions were listed. Why is this system still a thing? How can visitors work their way around it? Today, we’re going to talk about it.
