Winter is almost over in Florida and we can certainly feel the heat coming back.
That’s right, we’ve made it through another month of 2022, and February, though short, did bring us some SURPRISING updates. From health measures to mystery pizza, here are the 3 most unexpected things that happened in Disney World last month!
Stop, wherever you are. Yes, YOU! Stop walking about or watching your TV and just imagine with us for a moment.
You’re sitting in a large, indoor space and can hear the fires crackling in nearby pizza ovens and staff talking and walking about. In front of you is a giant plate of cheeses and salty meats. Then your main course comes in — you hear the crunchy crust as you take a bite, smell that melted cheese, and taste that amazing truffle. It’s just a dream for now. But it can be your reality if you go to one special spot and we’re about to let you in on the secret.
If you’re like us, you’re always looking for more Disney World dining options, and if you’re in the mood for pizza, there are more than a few spots to choose from, whether you’re into puffy pizza, fast pizza, or Sicilian pizza.
In Disney Springs, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is a favorite spot for quick, delicious pizza, but it often has a long line. Pizza Ponte, which is also located in Disney Springs, is an alternative pizza spot you might not have tried. We’re here to go over both restaurants and next time you’re in Disney Springs with pizza on your mind, you might want to try Pizza Ponte!
It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there if you’re a Magic Kingdom restaurant.
Magic Kingdom draws in some huge crowds, and there are tons of options for satisfying their hunger. Casey’s Corner serves up classic theme park snacks like hot dogs and fries (not to mention our soulmate in food form, Corn Dog Nuggets,) and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe serves up some Mexican inspired flavors, but there is one Magic Kingdom counter-service spot that has PRIME real estate, yet can still be forgettable.
Did you know that some of the BEST food in Disney World isn’t even in the parks?
If you head over to Disney Springs, the shopping district in Disney World, you can find restaurants by world-class chefs with a huge variety of food options. There’s great Asian cuisine at Morimoto Asia, some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever have at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and delicious flavors from Spain at Jaleo (just to name a few). But even if you recognize those restaurants, you may not have heard of the place we’re heading today. We’re eating crowd-pleasing food that you can get on the go at prices much lower than the neighboring restaurants! [Read more…]
Earlier today, Blaze Pizza hit us with some fresh new fall flavors that you can now add to your custom pizza!
Blaze Pizza, located in Disney Springs, has added Roasted Squash and a Fiery Maple Finish to their menu! If you’re so fall obsessed that even your pizza needs autumnal vibes, look no further! [Read more…]
Have you ever been to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds?
This spot has all kinds of fun activities, like pools, horseback riding, sleigh rides, playgrounds, walking trails, and more. As people with a passion for food in Disney World, one of our favorite seasonal activities is the Food Truck Round-Up, where different food trucks get together so we can try out a whole bunch of delicious snacks. This time, we found a NEW food truck, and the snack we got from it will blow your mind. [Read more…]
No offense to the holidays, but EPCOT Food and Wine Festival might be the REAL “most wonderful time of year!” The festival has been underway for a few weeks now, and we’ve been eating and sipping our way through it!
Along the way, we’ve been met with all kinds of surprises…some good, and some…not so much. You know the feeling. When it comes to a colossal food fest like this one, there are just some things that pretty much EVERYONE is thinking but no one will say.
We love cheese here at DFB, so we love to check out all of the latest cheesy food options at Disney World.
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza in Disney Springs just came out with some NEW pesto cheesy garlic bread that might have you craving a pizza night sooner rather than later!
