While Epic Universe isn’t officially open to the public yet, Universal just started Passholder Previews, and we’re starting to get an idea of how Epic will operate once it’s open.

Universal has an incredible skip-the-line service called Express Pass, which is offered during previews and when Epic Universe opens May 22nd.

The resort’s third theme park, Epic Universe, is set to open on May 22nd, 2025. Before the park officially opens to the public, it has been open for previews. Team Members and their guests, along with other select guests, have been able to experience this brand-new park. Starting on April 17th, Universal Annual Passholders will be able to step into the gates of Epic Universe ahead of the park’s opening, but some dates have already started to sell out.
A little over an hour ago, Annual Passholders began receiving emails for the registration of the Disney World reopening Passholder Previews.

Passholders apparently rushed to their accounts to secure their spots for the preview days in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 9th and 10th. Now, in what feels like no time, BOTH Passholder Preview days are full.
Disney World is set to begin a phased reopening of the theme parks on July 11th, but we won’t all have to wait that long.

Between limited capacities and the new theme park reservation system, we’re wondering IF we’ll be able to get into the parks when they open. On the other hand, some Annual Passholders in the Disney World area will be able to get into the parks BEFORE July 11th! Disney just announced the dates for the Annual Passholder previews!
