Here at Disney Food Blog, we’ve deemed ourselves Snack Experts, so we know a thing or two about what snacks you should pick up at the grocery store.
We just found a new flavor of one of our favorite snacks, and we’re SO ready to try it out.
Over the past few months, we’ve seen a variety of price increases and product shortages impact consumers in general, and sometimes even reach as far as the Disney parks.
Earlier this year, we shared a look at a ketchup issue that impacted Disney World for a bit. We also recently shared the news about a potential Coca-Cola product shortage that could impact consumers in general. Now, it seems fans of some very popular snacks might be impacted by price increases in the future.
In terms of whimsical Disney World snacks, Oreos and churros go together like peanut butter and jelly!
The two dessert titans have officially joined forces for a limited time Oreo Churro special to Disney Springs, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is one treat you do not want to sleep on! [Read more…]
is an Indiana Jones-style snack spot where guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios can pick up funnel cakes, cold drinks, and floats. We love the design of the kiosk, with its industrial details and aged signs.
And right now, there’s a totally indulgent funnel cake on the menu that you’re definitely gonna want to add to your how-much-sugar-can-I-eat-on-vacation list (we’re not the only ones with one of those, right?): Cookies & Cream Funnel Cake!

If you’re planning a voyage aboard the Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream, you’re going to want to make a trip to Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats.
Scratch that. You’re going to want to make so many trips to Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats that they name a gelato after you. (This isn’t a thing, but we wouldn’t object if it was!)

It’s time to pop in and see what’s what at one of the best Disney spots for treats, BoardWalk Bakery!
The Bakery has always been one of our favorite spots for sweet treats, but it’s a can’t-miss every trip since it reopened after a major overhaul last year!
The Cheesecake Brownie and Peanut Butter, Banana, and Candied Bacon Pie are some of our favorites! And their Lemon Meringue Tart is probably my favorite pastry treat in all of Walt Disney World.
But Boardwalk Bakery is also one of our favorite stops to find those amazing Disney World Cupcakes.
The Mickey Oreo Cupcake captivated me at first glance because it’s just so darn cute. Underneath all of the fun trimmings, it’s a very simple cupcake — Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Icing, with a little surprise inside — and trimmed with Red Candies. But the garnish, though simple, adds something pretty special. It also bears a striking resemblance to another BoardWalk Bakery Mickey Oreo Cupcake from the past — the Oreo Bon Bon Cupcake.
Sitting on top is an Oreo Cookie, half-dipped in Red-Colored White Chocolate to resemble Mickey himself! Add a couple of Chocolate Discs for ears and Yellow Candies for buttons, and voila!
But tucked inside, there’s another item of interest — a thick, mousse-like [Read more…]

Gourmet Caramel and Candy Apples
are legendary at Disney. And come January, guests at Disneyland (and possibly Disney World, too!) are going to have a brand new apple to add to the list!
But seriously, this is one of the most gargantuan caramel apples I’ve ever seen!
Since Disney hasn’t released a name, we’ll go with the [Read more…]

There is never a dull moment when you hit up Landscape of Flavors Food Court at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
I recently got to stay at AOA and couldn’t wait to share some of the fun grab-and-go eats we found. Today, we’re looking at a DFB favorite: cupcakes!
First up, this happy little find! While I’ve seen this type of cupcake elsewhere, this is the first spot I’ve seen it with the added Mickey white chocolate face!
Under the lid, you’ll find a fairly standard yellow cupcake with buttercream frosting. But the little white chocolate Mickey face and Oreo “ears” add a little something special to the mix.
Concerned about [Read more…]

There are many reasons to head to the Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club — good food and fun character interactions, to name just a few.
But one of the stars of the evening buffet in the past have been the beautiful and delicious Oreo Bon Bons.
The yummy little treat is made of an Oreo cookie base, topped with cookies and cream mousse, and enrobed in chocolate with a chocolate fudge ganache garnish on top. It’s delicious, and has been a Disney fan cult favorite for years!
So when we started hearing reports of its disappearance from the Cape May Cafe dessert buffet, we were just as shocked and sad as you were!
But I’ve got good news for all of us today! The treat is back! You can now find Oreo Bon Bons [Read more…]
