Buckle up folks — the news you’ve all been waiting for is HERE.

Since the pandemic-related Disney World closures, Fantasmic! has not been available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Last year, Disney shared that Fantasmic! would be returning in 2022 and even announced some details about what it will look like when it returns. We then saw some things that might have indicated that construction at this spot was complete and the announcement that Cast Member rehearsals have begun was exciting as well. But Disney had not announced any more details about its reopening — until NOW!

NEWS: Opening Date Announced for Disney World’s Updated Castle Show

A number of things are set to return to or arrive in Disney World in 2022 including the Festival of Fantasy Parade, Fantasmic!, and more.

Another thing that will be joining in on the fun is an updated version of the castle stage show, which will be called Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire! We’ve already seen some news about this stage show and we shared a look at their casting information for when they were hiring for the show. Heading to Magic Kingdom soon? Want to see some characters while you’re there? Then you’ll want to look out for those cavalcades that go through the park a few times each day!

NEWS: Festival of Fantasy Parade Return DATE Announced for Disney World

It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen a traditional daytime parade in Magic Kingdom!

Parades returned in a smaller way during the Christmas season, and the holiday parade was available for daytime guests to see for a limited time. But the traditional, non-holiday-themed parades have been gone from Magic Kingdom since the pandemic closures. Previously, Disney shared the BIG news that the Festival of Fantasy Parade would be returning to Magic Kingdom in 2022 and now we’ve got an exciting update!

If you’re like us, you’ve probably been anxiously waiting for more news about Disney World’s new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel.
