We’ve been enjoying the start of the holidays at Disney World, and we LOVED seeing all the decorations at Animal Kingdom recently! But what else is new in this wild park?

Expedition Everest
On our visit we searched for the latest food and merchandise all over the park. We found returning favorites, some price increases, and noticed that our beloved Halloween treats are starting to be replaced. Follow along on our day in Animal Kingdom!
Ah Nomad Lounge, you just might be our favorite place to spend an Animal Kingdom afternoon.

We swung by this favorite spot today to see if there were any specials to try out and we got let in on a super-secret option — and it might not be an option for long!
Disney has been giving its mobile offerings on the My Disney Experience app some serious expansion in the reopened theme parks — especially when it comes to dining. More spots have been added to Mobile Order, you can now order some table service fare to go, AND there’s the new Mobile Dine Walk-up Waitlist.

With all of these added mobile options, we’ve gotten questions wondering if they are mandatory to use when you head into the park. Mobile Order is strictly encouraged but what about the Walk-up Waitlist? Do you HAVE to use the virtual waitlist to get a table when you don’t have a reservation? Here’s what we’ve experienced!

We’re hanging out with dinos and banshees alike in Animal Kingdom today and we have got updates. Let’s take a look at EVERYTHING new in food and merchandise in Animal Kingdom!
Dining has certainly changed at Walt Disney World since the parks reopened.

And we’re slowly beginning to see more locations get Mobile Order, as well as seeing more mobile order take-out options for table service restaurants, along with the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist!

Starbucks Secret Menu Jack Skellington Frappuccino at Disney World
From the Jack Skellington Frappuccino at Starbucks to the Guacamole To-Go from La Cava del Tequila, we are ALWAYS on the hunt for those items not listed on the menu. Today, we visited the Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom where we found a BRAND NEW secret item!
There are lots of spots to grab a delicious snack or meal around Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can get everything from barbecue dishes over at Flame Tree Barbecue to some great drinks at Dawa Bar or Thirsty River Bar.
