What’s this? What’s this? It’s Halloween. Yep, Halloween season is officially here.
Okay, so technically, Halloween started in August with the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. But we’re only a few weeks from October, which means it’s starting to feel even MORE like spooky season. If you’d like to celebrate all things Halloween, you’ll want to head to your local movie theater in October. Why? Because two Disney Halloween CLASSICS will be returning to the big screen.
Inside Out 2 has officially debuted in theaters! We have been anticipating the opening for months with lots of themed offerings in the parks including themed treats, character meet and greets, a sneak peek at the Walt Disney Presents theater, an addition to a nighttime show, and more.
Now, you can finally see the movie in theaters. We are feeling all the emotions, as Inside Out 2 had a very successful opening weekend at the box office.
There are a lot of popular movies in theaters right now, and new movies coming to theaters soon, not to mention new things added to Disney+ every month. Let’s just say now’s a good time to be a film buff — you’ve got a LOT of options.
One of the most popular Disney films coming soon is Haunted Mansion, which premieres on July 28th! But did you know that an iconic (OLD) Pixar film is returning to theaters for a limited time?
Welcome, Foolish Mortals — the TIME HAS FINALLY COME.
Disney’s Haunted Mansion movie releases on July 28th, and we’re spiffing up our Doom Buggies to get ready to see the spookiest movie OF THE YEAR. But you need to drag your bodies to your computers because tickets for the Haunted Mansion movie are available RIGHT NOW.
Buying tickets to the movie theater could cost you MORE soon…but there also might be some new options for cheaper tickets, too.

Have you been working on the unofficial fall bucket list?
What’s on a fall bucket list, you may ask? Well, it can include a wide variety of things, from pumpkin spice treats to apple picking to decorating for Halloween. But typically, somewhere in there you’re going to want to fit in a fall movie night — and if you prefer to go out rather than stay in, we’ve got a way for you to SAVE at the theaters!
The way movies have been released have changed over the past few years. Back in the day, movies came out only in theaters, then would be released on video or DVD after their theatrical run. That later shifted to movies also being released on demand or for rent online after they left theaters.
But, in recent years, some movies have been coming out on streaming services at the same time as their theatrical releases, or not coming out in theaters at all and JUST being released online in places like Netflix or HBO Max. Disney has definitely taken part in this new practice, and it has caused some controversy. But soon, they might not have to choose between the two.
Is it just us, or is Disney’s Encanto movie starting to feel like it’s reaching Frozen-level fame? Every so often, Disney creates a movie so charming and fun that we’re left thinking about it weeks — or even months — later. With the audience’s reaction to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” breaking records and a groundswell of love for Mirabel, it’s safe to assume Encanto is quickly becoming a beloved Disney movie.
‘Encanto’ is so fun!
If you can’t get enough of the Family Madrigal, we’ve got some good news!
