One would think that Disney World Annual Passholders are well-versed in everything about the resort and the benefits they receive.
However, there are still several common mistakes that some Passholders make.
Visiting Disney World can feel like a dream come true.
But navigating the parks can sometimes lead to some cringe-worthy missteps. We’ve been there, done that, and have the slightly red faces to prove it. To save you from making the same blunders, we’re sharing three embarrassing mistakes we made so you don’t have to.
December is creeping up on us, and that brings new challenges when it comes to navigating Disney World.
It’s one of the most beautiful times of the year, that’s for sure, but it’s also one of the most crowded. There’s so much to explore, but SO many people there to check it all out. If you’re heading to Disney World this upcoming month, here are the mistakes you 100% won’t want to make!
2025 is right around the corner, and that means that your vacations are too!
If you’re planning on staying on property during your Disney World vacation, there are a lot of hotels to choose from. No hotel is a bad choice, per say, but they are very different from each other, so it’s important to realize what’s best for you and your group may not be the same for another. These mistakes are ones you’ll definitely want to avoid though, no matter where you stay on property!
We might be Disney World pros, but we still occasionally make mistakes in Disney World.
Maybe we forgot to pack our rain gear, even though we know how finicky Florida weather can be. Maybe we forgot to try to get a virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and then all spots are gone and we’ll have to pay for Lightning Lane Single Pass if we want to ride it. We also do a lot of people-watching in Disney World and see how there are some things in Disney World that are so confusing that often throw people off. Well, we’ve got one particular thing in Magic Kingdom to point out that you’ll want to be aware of.
It’s almost October in Disney World, and that means we can all celebrate as it drops a few degrees in temperature!
It also means that the month of Halloween will officially arrive, even though Disney World has been celebrating since August. We can’t wait for next month to hit, but for those of you taking a trip next month, there are a few things you need to know about before you step into the parks. Namely, some mistakes we don’t want you to make!
We say it all the time, and we won’t stop because it’s SO true — choosing where to eat in Disney World is BEYOND hard.
First, you’ve gotta figure out what your budget for the trip is, and how much of it is allocated to dining, and THEN you need to decide what table service restaurants to book (up to 60 days before your trip begins) and what meals you’ll stop at quick service restaurants for. On the Disney World website and My Disney Experience App, you’ll find that each restaurant has a number of dollar signs that can help you get a quick picture of how much it costs. However, it’s easy to make a mistake at a select few of these restaurants, and we’re BEGGING you not to fall victim to it!
While Disney World may be the Most Magical Place on Earth, that doesn’t mean that bad things can’t happen.
Yes, negative things are sometimes a little more manageable because hey, you’re in Disney World, but sometimes life’s struggles still break through that Disney bubble. Not to mention that being in Disney World can create a whole slew of NEW problems that you don’t really experience anywhere else. Since Cast Members are the first line of help for any issues in the parks, that means you could hear them say some pretty undesirable things throughout your trip, and if you do, you may want to turn around and walk the other way.
When you come to Disney World, we want your experience to be as smooth as possible.
There are more than a couple of things at Disney World that can quickly overwhelm you, especially during the summer months, and we don’t want any of them to weigh you down. To that point, we wanted to go over some of the “mistakes” that even the most seasoned Disney travelers might make at Disney World this coming August so you can avoid them like a champ!
We have our team in the Disney World parks EVERY day, and we see a lot of things.
One of the things we see most often is families making “simple” mistakes that end up affecting the entire rest of their day, and sometimes even trip! We’ve seen people collapse from dehydration and/or heat exhaustion during the summer when they don’t listen to what their body is telling them, get on the Magic Kingdom Monorail thinking it’s going to EPCOT (and vice versa), and quite often, we see people of all ages walk right past the warning signs for a ride and hop on, only to MAJORLY regret it after. We asked our readers on Facebook what ride they’ll NEVER go on again, and we think you already know what the answer is.
