Sure, it’s January, but that doesn’t mean we’re not thinking ahead to spooky season in Disney World.

After all, it’s the next BIG holiday that gets a huge celebration in the parks, including fun decor (We love those Mickey pumpkin wreaths!) and an After Hours party, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (which is SO much fun). So we’re curious about when the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will happen this year…but y’all, we think Disney just dropped a MAJOR hint.

REMINDER: A Hollywood Studios Restaurant Will CHANGE Next Week

We’re nearing the end of summer, and a some of us are celebrating for a few different reasons. 

The end of summer means Halloween is drawing near!

Firstly, we only have about a month and a half left of that unbearable Florida heat and humidity that sticks around in the summer. Secondly, the end of summer means that spooky season is well on its way! Character dining experiences are one of the best ways to meet characters in Disney World. First, you’re guaranteed to see certain characters while you’re there, and the interactions can be longer than what you might get at a regular meet and greet.

Many character dining experiences switched to family-style dining after Disney World reopened, but a lot of them are returning as buffets. Character Dining Is BACK in Disney’s Hollywood Studios With a Halloween Twist!

Since the reopening, we’ve seen a few character dining experiences return.

Mickey and Pluto!

You can now see Cinderella (very quickly) at Cinderella’s Royal Table, wave at the Beast in Be Our Guest Restaurant, and get some fun photos with Mickey and some of his friends at Garden Grill Restaurant and Topolino’s Terrace. Today, character dining also returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with a Halloween twist!
