We’ve been hanging out at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, enjoying the beautiful park (and it really is gorgeous, isn’t it), checking out all the rides, and seeing what’s new. So let’s get on with some updates!
Character meet-and-greets have looked a bit different since the parks reopened after the pandemic closures.
Hey There Mickey!
Right now, you can see some characters at a distance in select spots. Recently, more character meet-and-greets have returned (in a modified way) in select themed locations. For example, you can once again meet Mickey Mouse and some princesses in Magic Kingdom, and say “hello” to the Disney Junior pals in Hollywood Studios. Today, we saw that 3 MORE character meet-and-greets are back!
We learned a little while ago that character meet and greets were returning to Disney World in a modified way.
We love Pooh!
Since Disney World reopened, you could only see your favorite characters from a distance — though you could still wave “hello” and take pictures. Even at character meals, they usually just walk through the room or greet guests from a distance. Now, there are new character meet and greets (called character “sightings”) in the parks. It’s been a fun week at Disneyland Resort, and we’ve been checking out some new Halloween snacks, as well as the new holiday shop!
Sure, Halloween is just over a week away, but the Disney Parks are already getting into the holiday spirit.
There’s something different about the castle…There’s SNOW!
We’ve seen holiday decorations at Disney World and Disneyland, and we’ve already gotten a sneak peek of holiday merchandise! Disneyland even got a brand new year-round holiday store. And recently we stopped by one specific spot where it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It’s an exciting time to be at Disneyland Resort because HalloweenTime has officially arrived! And we’re checking it all out — all the cool decor, snacks, merchandise, characters, and more! So let’s see what’s new right now at Disneyland!
Yes, we haven’t technically made it to Halloween yet, but it’s hard not to start thinking forward to holidays, especially now that we know a little bit about the upcoming Festival of the Holidays and Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours!
Festival of the Holidays is returning!
And we’ve already seen Disney drop a TON of ornaments online, so we’re just waiting to see what other awesome holiday merchandise is on its way. And we’ve now got even more to share with you!
The holidays will be here before we know it, folks!
Christmas Tree in Hollywood Studios
Right now, Disney World is decked out with pumpkins and fall colors, but as soon as Halloween is over, the holiday season will begin! Decorations will go up on Main Street, U.S.A. in time for the first Very Merriest After Hours event! And since Disney starts celebrating holidays early, we think we’re allowed to, too! So, if you’re already looking for some new holiday decor, we found a fun Disney item for you!!
