2023 has been a big year for McDonald’s!

From the viral Grimace Shake to the popular Disney100 toys to the fan-favorite Halloween Happy Meal Boo Buckets, we’ve found ourselves in the drive-thru at the fast food giant more times than we’d care to admit. But it looks like we’ll all be planning another visit soon…because McDonald’s just announced its next big offering!
Sure, McDonald’s has been around for a while. And yes, those classic menu items never change. But every once in a while, we find something new at McDonald’s, and next thing you know, we’re ordering McDonald’s for dinner. What can we say? Sometimes, you just need some french fries and a cheeseburger, right?

Well, we’re not here to tell you what to do, but we are here to share the news that a NEW menu item has just arrived for a limited time (and you might want to go check it out)!
McDonald’s Crocs wasn’t something we thought we needed, but now that they’re available, we’re so glad they exist.

These adorable additions to Happy Meals will be available for a few months, and there are over 50 to collect. However, as we’ve been happily collecting these adorable figurines, we’ve started to run into a problem.
It’s hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of 2023, and with that, the end of Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.
Disney100 Celebration
We celebrated hard both inside and outside of the Disney Parks, and some of our favorite brands and companies other than Disney even joined in on the celebration. One of those companies was McDonald’s! If you’ve followed along with the team here at DFB for a while, then you probably already know that we’re all suckers for the occasional Happy Meal. (A guilty pleasure cheeseburger and a toy?) Count us in! Anyway, McDonald’s actually released 62 (!!!) new Disney100 Happy Meal toys that you can collect between now and December 4th. (That’s gonna take a LOT of Happy Meals to collect them all.) While all of them are great, there are a few that we’re particularly excited about. Let’s check them out!
What started as an innocent office debate quickly turned into a passionate, heated contest. In fact, we couldn’t settle the debate on our own. So we brought in reinforcements. Over 3,000 reinforcements. With the help of our readers, our McDonald’s debacle was put to rest. A victor was crowned. Tears were shed. Let’s get into it.

Actually, let’s back up for a moment first. This all started when the new Disney 100th Anniversary Happy Meal collection first launched. McDonald’s announced that it would release 62 Disney-themed Happy Meal toys, and the obsessive Disney collector gene inside us decided to take this as a personal challenge to collect them all. So, we started ordering Happy Meals. Lots, and lots, and lots of Happy Meals. And it got us thinking: when you order McDonald’s, are you team cheeseburger or team chicken nuggets? From there, a debate was born.
We’ve learned two VERY important facts about you, our DFB readers, this year.
Everybody loves Crocs!
First, it’s no secret that you love Disney as much as we do. But you know what else you love? Well, we see how much you adore Crocs (and some of you swear by Crocs as your parks shoe). But you know what else we learned? Y’all also love McDonald’s (and we could blame the new Disney100 Happy Meal toys for making that love grow). So what happens when those two things are combined? Well, we’re about to find out.
We have a confession to make.
A LOT of Happy Meals, y’all
We’ve been really excited about the new Disney100 McDonald’s Happy Meal toys. Now, we’re usually excited when Disney and McDonald’s collaborate, but these new toys…well, there are over 50 of them. So let’s just say we told ourselves, “Challenge accepted,” and we’ve bought a LOT of Happy Meals over the past few days.
We’ve never been so excited to go to McDonald’s in all our lives.

Why? Because McDonald’s just released Disney100 Happy Meals to celebrate the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary. And guess what? There aren’t just a handful of toys to get this time around — nope, there are more than 50 toys to collect! So we’re on a mission to collect them all (does anyone else suddenly feel like this is the Disney version of Pokemon?). So here’s what we’ve got so far and how we’d rank them!
The official 100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company took place on October 16th, but that doesn’t mean we’re done celebrating!
