It’s the week we’re all seeing GREEN… for St. Patrick’s Day! And if you’re in Disney World on March 17th (and even before), there are plenty of ways to celebrate the love of all things Irish.
Let’s start at Magic Kingdom, where the current Specialty Hot Dog at Casey’s Corner (available throughout the rest of March) is topped with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and wholegrain mustard. [Read more…]
We love watching the seasons change at Walt Disney World, and not just because pumpkins change into evergreen wreaths overnight (literally!).
No, friends, we love all the seasonal treats that reappear along with the decorations! And the Main Street Bakery is a great place to grab something new (or a returning favorite).
Despite several new breakfast locations opening on Main Street in the morning, we think the Main Street Bakery will retain its popularity. As the home of the Magic Kingdom’s Starbucks, the Main Street Bakery incorporates both fun, Disney-fabulous treats (we love the seasonal and character cupcakes!) and our favorite Starbucks items. This is true of all of the on-property Starbucks locations, so no matter where you find yourself, you’ll have a bunch of goodies to choose from.
On our visit to the Main Street Bakery, we tried one of the returning seasonal items: the Cranberry Bliss Bar. This bar is one of the Starbucks offerings, so if you’re a fan of this one in the real world, you can now enjoy it in the Parks as well.

Mickey Mouse is celebrating his birthday on November 18
and we’re all invited to the party! Whether you’re celebrating the Mouse’s big day at Walt Disney World or Disneyland, there are so many sweet treats to enjoy – and the best part is, every dessert was inspired by Mickey!
No birthday celebration is complete without cupcakes, and Mickey’s Birthday Cupcake will be available at The Trolley Car Cafe and Starring Rolls at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! A Love Mickey XOXO cupcake is available at the Main Street Bakery and Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, while Mischievous Mickey’s Birthday Cupcake – a confetti cupcake filled with strawberry mousse and topped with chocolate buttercream – will be available at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! And it’s DOUBLY so if you’ve booked your tickets (like I just did!!!!) for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
This party is TOPS for ushering in your holiday celebration. It’s not Christmas until we’ve experienced snow on Main Street and watched the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade — complete with Santa himself!
And you can’t forget the dazzling lights that turn Cinderella Castle into one of the most beautiful spectacles of the season. [Read more…]

Can you believe it’s already been over three years since the Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Bakery became the first Starbucks location in Disney World?
At the time of the transition from the original Main Street Bakery, it was a pretty major, high-profile change. These days, though, it’s no longer unusual to spot the signature Starbucks green Siren logo around both Disney World AND Disneyland, and guests have become rather accustomed to getting their favorite Frappucino or Pumpkin Spice Latte on their Disney vacation.
As far as food goes, primarily you’ll find similar (if not the exact same) options that you’ll be familiar with if you tend to frequent Starbucks in your hometown — pastries and treats like the popular Iced Lemon Loaf, or small meals like Breakfast Sandwiches.
But you’ll still find a few unique-to-Disney items in the case at Main Street Bakery. The same is true of the other in-park Starbucks locations: Epcot’s Fountain View, Animal Kingdom’s Creature Comforts, and The Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios.
Today we’re going to look at a mix of both at the Main Street Bakery — one Starbucks item, and two unique-to-Disney items. In fact, we’ll mix it up even further by making one of those Disney items a seasonal offering. After all, ’tis the season for creepies and crawlies…
… like the current Spider Cupcake! [Read more…]
Little Ghouls and Goblins (and the not so little ones too) — take note! The annual celebration of all things Halloween, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, has kicked off at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. And we’re excited to see a couple of brand new treats for 2016!
At Gaston’s Tavern, we’re looking forward to digging into a new cupcake — Enchanted Pumpkin Spice!
It’s just one of the specialty cupcakes that you can enjoy exclusively during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Look for the return of other favorites, like the Chocolate Worms and Dirt Cupcake and the Spider Cupcake — this year, in Vanilla — at Main Street Bakery as well. [Read more…]
