Uh, Disney, Where Did the Astro Orbiter Go?

2025 is the year of construction and closures at Disney World.

Astro Orbiter is closed

There are so many rides that are undergoing refurbishment or have permanently closed to make way for new experiences. Currently, there are three attractions closed in the Magic Kingdom, including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Hall of Presidents, and the Astro Orbiter. Soon, that list will grow, as Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America will soon close to make way for a brand new Cars expansion.

We have been monitoring the construction of these closed attractions, and there is one Magic Kingdom refurbishment that shocked us.

NEWS: Jungle Cruise Will Temporarily CLOSE in Magic Kingdom SOON

Another Magic Kingdom ride is temporarily CLOSING soon, and this one’s a biggie.

Lots of changes have been happening at Disney World’s most popular park recently. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opened in Frontierland, and the nearby Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade closed down around the same time. That Arcade is being refurbished to become a Disney Vacation Club lounge. Also in Frontierland, the Country Bear Jamboree show has been closed as Disney re-works some of the songs. In Fantasyland, Peter Pan’s Flight has closed for a refurbishment as well.

If you hop over to the nearby Adventureland, you’ll find another attraction closure in just a few weeks!

A Major Disney World Ride Is Closing for a LONG Time Next Week

Disney World has been VERY busy over the last couple of weeks with a lot of guests heading into the parks for the holiday season.
