As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, we’ve seen various rules and regulations change.

Most recently, we’ve shared news about COVID-19 cases increasing in Central Florida and how the Orange County, Florida mayor has recommended masks be worn in select indoor locations again. But, now we’ve got an update out of California and how things are changing in one county there.

We decided to head over to B Sweet in Los Angeles to try out some new Disney-inspired treats there. This is one bakery that seems to love Disney desserts as much as we do!

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of things around the world.

Businesses big and small have felt the impact of the pandemic, as have their employees. Now, one of Disney’s leaders is doing something to help small businesses that are struggling to stay afloat throughout this pandemic.
The situation with the global pandemic is constantly developing. We’ve seen that COVID-19 testing kits can now be purchased online, and rules have recently changed out at Disneyland due to the stay-at-home order that is currently in place for Southern California.

Earlier today we also saw that Florida has received its first set of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines and even administered the first vaccine to a nurse during this morning’s press conference. But, Florida isn’t alone in terms of receiving doses of the coronavirus vaccine. Late last night, California also received its first shipment of the vaccine.
A couple of weeks ago, Orange County in California re-entered the most restrictive reopening tier, the Purple Tier, due to a rise in positive case rates. Since then, the county has had to close indoor dining operations, as well as reduce capacity at indoor retail locations to 25%.

Now, 11 counties across Southern California, including Orange County where Disneyland is located, will enter a new stay-at-home order.
The California theme park reopening guidelines may keep Disneyland closed for some time.

Last month, Orange County, the county in which Disneyland is located, was pushed back into the severe purple tier for COVID-19 cases. Now, as nearby Los Angeles County has been placed under a safer-at-home order, the city of Los Angeles is following suit.
Recently we saw Orange County, in which Disneyland Resort is located, push-back to the purple tier for coronavirus cases.

While Buena Vista Street reopened earlier this month, the California theme parks have remained closed due to guidelines from the state. Now, Los Angeles County has issued a safer-at-home order as cases continue to rise in the area.
Yesterday, the state of California released the long-awaited theme park reopening guidelines, which signaled what could be a longer than anticipated wait before guests can visit the Disneyland Resort once again.

Now, we’re learning about another prominent institution with the Disney name in Southern California that is further delaying when its doors can open once again, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Governments around the country are continuing to make decisions on when to stay closed and when to open up.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the states that Disney parks are in and there have been some interesting developments. Despite California moving through their phased reopening plan, Los Angeles County (just next door to Disneyland’s Orange County) has stated that stay-at-home orders will likely be extended for the next three months.
