Over thousands of visits to Disney World, we’ve learned plenty of life-saving tips!
We know how to navigate the crowds, make the most of the My Disney Experience app, and where to find the best snacks, bathrooms, and hidden gems around the parks. But if you’re going to Disney World soon, we’ve got one super important tip to share — it’s about the “m-word” that can make or break your day!
Disney World is always changing!
And while there are changes we LOVE, like the newest Disney World app update (easier dining reservations, y’all!), we’ve noticed a trend in Disney World changes that we definitely do NOT love. And it doesn’t look like it’s going away anytime soon.
Y’all, Genie+ is COMPLEX.
We’ve spent a TON of time learning about this skip-the-line service so that we can make sure that you’re prepared for any Genie+ experience you may encounter on your trip. We’ve told you about all of our tips and tricks, how to maximize your day and even all of the changes that have happened to it since it was announced. However, there is one MISTAKE that we have seen people making in the parks, and we have to talk about it! [Read more…]
Using Disney Genie+ can be incredibly helpful during your Disney World vacation, but it can also be a PAIN.
Learning how to navigate the app, not knowing the price for Genie+ in advance, and trying to snag Lightning Lanes for the popular rides that book up FAST can be pretty overwhelming. There’s just so much to take in! And on top of that, sometimes the My Disney Experience app just has random glitches that cause issues.
Disney World is known for being the Most Magical Place on Earth — but it isn’t all magic, all the time.
Sure, we do our best to go with the flow and not make a big deal out of things, but sometimes we just can’t help feeling awkward during certain Disney interactions. And, since we’re friends, we’re letting you in on the top awkward moments that we cringe at — every single time.
We know that planning a Disney World trip isn’t exactly a walk in the park.
You have to decide when to go, where to stay, what to eat, which rides to go on, and a whole lot more. It’s not easy, and if you’re new to the process it can seem incredibly daunting. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth time, these are the necessary evils of planning a Disney World trip.
While we frequently make recommendations and nudge you towards some of the better (in our opinion) things Disney World has to offer, occasionally we have strong pieces of advice that we believe you should absolutely take. This is one of those occasions.
In theory, planning a Disney World vacation should be the most stressful part of your trip. Once you get to the resort, that’s where the fun begins. We wish we could say it was all fun, but if plan on visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you should brace yourself for a possibly rocky experience with one particular attraction.
It’s a BIG DAY for Disney World fans!! ?
LOTS of things are changing in Disney World today! The Disney Dining Plan is BACK. Park Pass reservation requirements are GONE for most guests. AND you can now park hop ALL DAY long — no more waiting until 2PM! Of course we’re in the parks all day today covering all the changes; and well, first thing this morning the way Genie+ was working with our annual pass surprised us!
We’re getting ready to ring in the New Year in Disney World, and things are pretty busy right now!
We’re getting ready to say goodbye to the holiday season and hello to 2024. We’re already diving into some special New Year’s snacks and navigating all the crowds, but let’s take a look at something else today that we bet you’ll be interested in — the price of Genie+.
