Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Hollywood Studios!
We’ve got plenty of construction, food, and merchandise updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
Strolling through Hollywood Studios always puts us in a good mood!
We zipped on over to the glitziest and most galactic of the Disney Parks to see if there’s anything new going on. Last time we were here we found a hot cocoa flight and a Baby Yoda easter egg so we had our eyes wide open! Well, here’s everything we were able to spot in food, construction, and merchandise at Hollywood Studios!
We here at DFB are no strangers to food hacks in the parks!
We’ve shared the delicious Churro Sundae, Mickey Ear Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich, and even the Blue and Green Milk Parfait creations that we’ve discovered so you can treat yo’self too! And, we’re back in Batuu to give you a li’l peak at our latest Disneyland food hack (warning: your mouth might start watering).
Hey, friends! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New in Hollywood Studios!
This is where we take you on a virtual walk around Walt Disney World to discuss what’s been happening this week at Hollywood Studios!
We were traveling through our favorite intergalactic outpost today at Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge to see what was poppin’ at Kat Saka’s Kettle!
Known for its Outpost Mix Popcorn, this place can hit the spot for those craving a sweet ‘n spicy snack on Batuu, and now they have TWO flavors to choose from!
Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened to guests on May 31, and over the next few days, some big changes are coming to Planet Batuu in the universe of reservations and dining!
First, reservations. [Read more…]
Whenever a new land opens at Walt Disney World, the hype is always extremely real. But we all know that like anything else, that excitement can flicker out pretty quickly (AKA any YA novel fandom).
The question is: how do you test if a land is a hit in Disney after it opens? It’s not only its initial popularity that keeps it high on the list but the continual visits from guests, how long the wait times are, and even what’s inside the land itself (still not over the Viewmaster slides in Toy Story Land tbh). And the differences between Pandora’s opening in 2017 and Galaxy’s Edge’s opening this year seem to show — at least anecdotally — that the two don’t stack up very similarly in terms of overall popularity.
In case you haven’t heard, there are a LOT of changes coming to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
While many changes come in the form of new attractions (like the highly-anticipated TRON Lightcycle Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind), there are also a whole bunch of NEW restaurants coming soon, like Space 220 and Woody’s Roundup Barbecue to the parks and resorts! Let’s explore all the new and soon to be new options you need to know about.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened with a bang at Disneyland Park on May 31, and the Disney World version blasted off a few weeks later on August 29.
And with so much to experience in this immersive new land, we’re taking a look at seven things — big and small! — that you CAN’T miss when you visit Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu!
For the Galaxy’s Edge grand openings, only one of the two major rides was ready to roll at first: Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. [Read more…]
The grain merchant Kat Saka runs a stall in the marketplace of Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. The local specialty is the Outpost Mix, which guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can enjoy here at Kat Saka’s Kettle!
The bustling marketplace is filled with shops and other places to grab a bite or sip like Ronto Roasters and the Milk Stand. Within the busy scene, you’ll be able to identify Kat Saka’s Kettle by the bins filled with grains from across the galaxy on either side of the stall. [Read more…]
