We’ve had the chance to experience Epic Universe ahead of its official opening on May 22nd, 2025 a few times now and we still haven’t even seen all that this new park has to offer. Over in the Isle of Berk, the How To Train Your Dragon-themed land at Epic Universe, they’re serving up mac and cheese cones — and we’re bringing you along to try one!

It was truly remarkable and we can’t wait for fans to get to experience it on May 22nd when it officially opens to the public! We’ve already gotten a sneak peek inside the park and we have so many thoughts! There is so much to see and do and it seems like we aren’t the only one with things to say about the brand-new Universal theme park. Let’s break down what the internet is saying about how they plan on getting into the park before it’s open.
Epic Universe may only be in previews to Universal Team Members and their guests at the moment, but there’s one surprise attraction at the park that looks to be a bonafide surprise hit!

Universal’s newest park, which is set to open to the public on May 22nd, is stocked with a veritable smorgasbord of new and technologically advanced attractions, including Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, Stardust Racers, Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, and Mine Cart Madness. However, during our preview experience in the park, the busiest line didn’t belong to a ride at all.
