We started our visit out checking on the progress of the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.
Epcot is in the middle of a multi-year transformation.
The transformation includes new rides, a Play Pavilion, re-imagined park entrance, new restaurants, and a new nighttime spectacular. Our latest visit to Epcot included catching up on the progress of all of this construction.
We started our visit out in Future World and checking on the progress of the Guardians of the Galaxy ride.
Epcot is busy getting ready for the Flower and Garden Festival to start next week, but that isn’t all that is happening! We found so many changes, lots of new merchandise, the return of a hidden gem, and as always lots of construction progress!

Every visit to Epcot is filled with construction updates, new food, and fun merchandise — and this visit to Epcot is jam-packed with new food (including gluten-free snacks, chocolate covered pretzels,and more), the cutest and sweetest smelling merchandise, and progress on new rides, restaurants, and the Skyliner.

The Guardians of the Galaxy ride isn’t the only thing going on Epcot right now, there’s also the addition of the Ratatouille Ride in the France Pavilion, TWO brand new restaurants, prep work for the new nighttime show, and more must-have merchandise!
As construction continues on the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction coming to Epcot, fans of the film franchise can enjoy a Guardians experience in the park in the meantime. Because this summer, Guardians of the Galaxy — Awesome Mix Live! will return to Epcot!
Star-Lord and Gamora will “take you on a musical journey through the cosmos” once again, performing hits from Star-Lord’s Awesome Mix tapes. Live shows will be performed daily from June 14 – August 18, 2019. [Read more…]
There’s so much going on in Epcot! They are getting ready for the Festival of the Arts to open next week, adding new rides, attractions, restaurants, and even more. This visit was jam-packed with updates!
Let’s dive into all of the updates and start in Future World at one of our first stops on every visit — Fountain View for Coffee and Cupcakes!
There’s a lot going on in Epcot! World Showcase is getting ready for a new nighttime show after IllumiNations ends, Japan is welcoming a new table-service restaurant, France is adding a Ratatouille Ride and Beauty and the Beast attraction, and a Guardians of the Galaxy ride is coming to Future World. That means lots of construction, construction walls, scrims, and more around the park. We checked on the progress of all of these projects on our latest visit to the park.
With one of the more colorful construction walls in the park — the Guardians of the Galaxy ride is coming along with the conversion of the former Universe of Energy building into the queue building for the new ride.
Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays
is in full swing. Guests are sipping hot cocoa, enjoying cultural storytellers in the World Showcase, and flocking to see the Candlelight Processional each night.

Finally! Star Wars fans rejoice! The stage show A Galaxy Far, Far Away is back! After monitoring weeks of refurbishment work in the stage area we were glad to see the stage back when we were in Hollywood Studios today.
It’s like welcoming back an old friend to see this mobile stage in its rightful place again.
