Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Over in Disney World, we’ve been celebrating the return of Casey’s Corner, but Disneyland has some fun hot dog news too. There’s a new Hot Dog of the Month in town in Disneyland and we are VERY excited to try this interesting flavor combination.
A lot has been going on at Disneyland Resort lately!

A brand new annual pass program was just announced called Magic Key, masks are required indoors again, and restaurants like Carthay Circle and Golden Horseshoe have reopened! And now, we have reopening dates for several other Disneyland restaurants for you to look forward to!
More and more Disneyland spots are reopening!
It’s back!
Today, we stopped by the newly reopened Hearthstone Lounge at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort to see how it was!
Earlier today, Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at Disneyland Resort brought back their character dining breakfast.

And while many meals that were formerly served as buffets in the Disney parks have been converted to family-style meals, Storytellers Cafe is actually serving up a BUFFET! While that buffet contains a bunch of options you’re used to seeing — Mickey waffles, bacon, etc. — it’s also got some drinks served in a unique way!

One of the big things we’ve seen particularly in Disney World is that generally all of the restaurants that used to offer buffet-style meals have been converted to family-style meals, prix fixe menus, or a la carte dining. But, when Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at Disneyland Resort started offering its character dining breakfast/brunch again today we experienced something different.
We’ve seen quite a few reopening announcements at Disneyland Resort recently.
Disneyland Resort is reopening gradually!
It seems like everything from rides to restaurants to resorts are getting reopening dates, and we’re very excited to check it all out. Recently, it was announced that character meals are coming back to the resort, and today you can make reservations for one of those meals!
Disneyland is continuing with its phased reopening.
Disneyland
Hotel-wise, only Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are currently welcoming guests — but Disneyland Hotel has plans to reopen soon. And starting next month, Disneyland Resort as a whole is offering some pretty sweet savings for hotel guests!
Disneyland Resort is continuing with its phased reopening, which means more restaurants are coming BACK!
Storytellers has reopened!
Recently, Blue Bayou reopened (with booze!), and we’re looking forward to the NEW eats at Avengers Campus, too. But today, we stopped by Storytellers Cafe for its grand reopening!
There’s big news from Disneyland today!
Disneyland Hotel
Disney just announced that the Disneyland Hotel will be reopening soon and we are super excited. Not only does the hotel have a bit of a new look, but guests can also enjoy reopening restaurants — and DELIVERY! Yep, you heard us right.
