It’s Halloween in the Disney Parks, and if you think Disney Springs was letting everyone else have all the fun, you’ve got another think comin’! Because right now at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, a trio of drinks come with Poison Apple Glow Cubes!
You need this, so here’s the drill: The Forbidden Apple, the Autumn Smash, and the Non-Alcoholic Poison-less Apple each come with the green Poison Apple Glow Cube. (You might recognize it from Disneyland’s Halloween Time last year, and those lucky ducks on the west coast have three colors from which to choose this year!) [Read more…]
Okay, so Halloween is over, and Christmas decor is going up all over Walt Disney World (most noticeably in Hollywood Studios, which you can catch over on our Instagram!). But before we get knee deep in snowmen and Santa hats, we’ve gotta try the brand new Candy Corn Margarita being poured over at the Hollywood Studios pop-up bars!
This seasonal drink is crafted from Patron Silver Tequila, Stoli Vanil Vodka, Fanta Orange, and a splash of Lemonade. And it comes with a glow cube! [Read more…]
New for Halloween Time this year, the Disneyland Resort has introduced three new glow cubes for your lighted drinking pleasure.
The specialty cubes are available in the themed lands from which they come. For example, The Poison Apple Glow Cube can only be found at Disneyland Park in Fantasyland — the same area where you’ll find Snow White and the Wicked Witch, who’d like to poison her with one of these little flashing beauties.
You can pick up a Poison Apple Glow Cube at Maurice’s Treats or the Small World Lemonade Cart.
Over in New Orleans Square, you can find Jack Skellington Glow Cubes brightening up your beverage! A Jack Glow Cube can be purchased from the Mint Julep Bar, Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans, or the New Orleans Square Lemonade Cart.
Although I haven’t seen them yet, Pumpkin Mickey Glow Cubes are floating around in Disneyland drinks, too! They can be found throughout Disneyland at Carnation Cafe, Big Thunder Ranch, the Small World Lemonade Cart, the Tomorrowland Lemonade Cart, and at the Ship to Shore Food Stand, which is just across from Big Thunder Mountain. I’ll try to get my hands on one soon, so I can share a photo!
UPDATE: I spotted the Mickey Pumpkin Glow Cube for sale at the Small World Lemonade Cart!
In my opinion all drinks taste better with a Glow Cube in them. I’d really love a whole bowl of Poison apples for a Halloween decoration. I guess I’d better get to sippin’!
Are you a sucker for Glow Cubes? Have you seen these specialty Halloween Time additions in the parks yet? Which one is your favorite?

We freely admit that our first “You Know You’re Eating in Disney World When…” post amused us so much that we had to do a Part 2! After all, where else can we dine with a beloved mouse in the kitchen!
Our “You know you’re eating in Disney World when…” thoughts were bountiful, and we’d love to hear yours too! Who knows…there may just have to be a third post in the series!
Leave us a comment with your personal “You know you’re eating in Disney World or Disneyland when…” experience! 😉
Your beverage glows in the dark!
You find it appropriate to have your server correct your manners (and, frankly, get kind of annoyed when they don’t!).
You order ketchup and have multiple bottles delivered to your table by a dozen patrons seated near you.
