Whether they’re heading to the parks, starting new business ventures, or making guest appearances in our favorite shows and movies, we like to know what’s going on. But this week, we were caught completely off guard when we learned a fun fact about a Disney star that we didn’t know. Apparently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the “best prom date!”

It can be a pretty high stakes environment with all of the crowds and park reservations, but we still think it’s the Most Magical Place on Earth. Our team is very familiar with Disney World, so we think we know what to expect, but even we get caught off guard sometimes. Sometimes, Disney guests can be disruptive, and this guy was definitely that!
Even though Disney World’s 50th Anniversary started on October 1st, the theme parks are celebrating for 18 months!

And in honor of the occasion, Disney World released a TON of new snacks, drinks, and food items. When we say a ton, we mean it — there was more than 100 of them on October 1st alone. Park closures, health and safety measures, a bazillion and one changes to the way we do things in the parks…some days it has been nothing but pure chaos. Even though things have slowly returned to “normal” in the parks, all of the chaos of the last few years got us thinking — with all the ways that Disney has adapted to the ever-changing world around us, what would the theme parks be like in the most outlandish, ridiculous, out-of-the-box scenario we could think of? Today, we’re discussing what Disney World would do in a zombie apocalypse! (Yes, we’re serious!)

It was quite the week!
This past week, our Disney warriors hit the parks for the 50th Anniversary, phones charged, cameras ready, and reusable utensils on standby — ready to try what seemed like a million snacks and share photos of all the news. And let us just tell you, it was NOT a normal Friday. Some pretty funny things happened to our DFB reporters last week!
We are not quite sure what is going on in the plush department at Disney World recently.
