Calling all Frozen fans! If you’ve missed seeing our favorite sisters in action, you might want to check out a new, online Frozen event.
In preparation for Siblings Day, Disney has released a new YouTube series that lets us hang out with our fave sisterly duo, Anna and Elsa! We can’t wait to see these two celebrate family and show us that “Love Is an Open Door!”
Disney is constantly changing, especially with all the new health and safety regulations in place right now.
Frozen Ever After
On top of this, things happen. For example, rides go down, animatronics go wonky, ducks turn into plants — we’ve seen it all. And today, we noticed that a big piece of the fan-favorite attraction Frozen Ever After was missing.
Even the MOST classic Disney attractions aren’t immune from receiving changes!
There are several quotes from Walt Disney himself that illustrate the value the company places on progress and innovation. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that many attractions throughout the Disney theme parks — even some of the most iconic ones — have undergone some pretty significant changes over time.
Disney World reopened to the public following its temporary closures on July 11th, 2020. A lot has changed since then, and that has meant learning how to adjust to many of the new protocol and health guidelines implemented over the past several months.
While we’ve grown accustomed to many of the changes and can go about our day as if these changes are second nature to us, OTHER changes still have us riding the struggle bus. Let’s take a look at the changes that we’re still having a hard time adjusting to, even months after they’ve been implemented in the parks!
EPCOT is home to thrill rides, adventures through Arendelle, and a journey around the world. Every attraction seat offers a good view or a thrilling ride. However, not every seat is created equal!
Some people like to experience the thrill of riding in the back row of a roller coaster. Others want to see the whole picture by sitting in the front! You want to make sure you’re having the best experience when riding an attraction for the first time or the hundredth time. We’ve put together an ultimate guide to the BEST seats on each ride in EPCOT!
Disney World has implemented a lot of changes since its reopening last summer.
Mask mandates, social distancing, and plexiglass barriers are just some of the health and safety guidelines in place. Many Disney World experiences have been affected by these changes. These changes, like adding plexiglass to certain rides, are designed to make guests safer due to the global pandemic, but they can definitely alter the guest experience on some attractions.
Being long-time Disney fans, we’ve seen some things… .
Some of those things include videos of malfunctioning attractions, missing characters, and other Disney-related things that not only made us laugh, shocked us, or surprised us, but stayed with us a LONG time after we saw them. Or maybe it’s that we can’t UNSEE them. That’s why we’re sharing 5 videos that live in our heads rent free.
Hello, DFB Friends!
We spent a rainy day at EPCOT, checking on construction progress, looking out for new merch and snacks, and seeing what lines and crowds were like! And we have some updates, so are you ready? Here we go!
Unexpected downtimes for Disney World rides and attractions are not uncommon and happen on an almost daily basis. However, unannounced full-day closures are more rare and a bit head-scratching, especially with no explanation. We just experienced a bizarre multi-day closure over at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with the ride reopening just a couple of days ago.
This morning while checking out the first day of the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, we noticed that Frozen Ever After was temporarily closed. No bother, we would just check back later in the day!
