There are quite a few new experiences and attractions coming as part of the EPCOT Transformation, and one of those is the NEW Harmonious nighttime spectacular.

We’ve already seen two barges placed out on the water in preparation for this show, and we’ve seen the arms on these barges being tested. Today, we spotted another update on one of the barges that might point to some of the awesome technology that’ll be used in this show.
Last year, the global health crisis shut down all Disney Parks, including Tokyo Disney Resort, which includes two theme parks: Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
Both parks reopened last summer, and eventually, some entertainment resumed, including character meet and greets, and nighttime parades and fireworks.

We’ve been celebrating today at Disney World by eating all the delicious New Year’s treats and checking out the 2021 merchandise. There are special offerings at the resorts, but one thing is missing — the fireworks! Disney announced a few weeks ago that they wouldn’t be shooting off fireworks in their parks for the holiday, but that doesn’t mean we have to go without Disney World fireworks completely.

While lots of things have reopened or begun being offered again at Disney World, fireworks are still temporarily suspended, and boy do we miss belting out the Happily Ever After song and tearing up as those fireworks light up the sky above us.

And while fireworks have returned in a small way at Magic Kingdom as part of the holiday Castle projection show, some Disney guests recently got the chance to see even MORE fireworks during a test that was done near Magic Kingdom, and we’re sharing a peek at those fantastic fireworks with you!
Although firework shows are currently suspended at Disney World, we’ve seen fireworks and flares return in a modified and small way in the holiday projections in Magic Kingdom!

We’ve also seen a new fireworks barge for Harmonious brought out in EPCOT, and some firework testing done about a month ago. Now, Disney has announced that MORE firework testing will be soon taking place!
