… As soon as I hear those first few iconic notes of the Jaws theme song, I can’t help but feel a little uneasy. Since Bruce said in Finding Nemo that “fish are friends, not food,” we can only hope that people are the same… right? (Cue nervous laughter)
As the Jaws theme song crescendos, one specific aquatic animal has began circling Disney World as this new cupcake makes its way into Pop Century Resort. Catch my drift?
There’s no shortage of fun cups and mugs at the Disney Parks, and lo and behold, on our visit to Animal Kingdom today we found another awesome tumbler! This time it’s Finding Nemo — with the adorable clown fish included!
Finding Nemo Tumbler
We spotted the tumbler at several drink and snack carts all around the park, so keep your eyes peeled for it! [Read more…]
The fun is on at Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort. With parades, nighttime shows, and a bazillion themed eats, Pixar Fest is shaping up to be one massive, summer-long celebration. And we. are. IN!
At candy kitchens in Disneyland proper and Disney California Adventure Park, guests can bite into sugary, colorful Pixar Cake Pops! We spotted Grape Soda Bottle Caps, the Pixar Ball, Nemo, and Dory!

Time to head over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for this new cupcake!
August’s cupcake at Contempo is a Turtle Cupcake featuring everyone’s favorite kid turtle, Squirt! Radical, Dude!
Contempo Café is known for its totally awesome cupcake selection! The Café, if you’re not familiar, is the counter-service restaurant in the Contemporary Resort, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the Grand Canyon Concourse near the popular character buffet, Chef Mickey’s.
The restaurant has great options like Cajun Seared Mahi and Chicken Alfredo Pasta — and you can’t miss the amazing Pot Roast! And breakfast here features one of our favorite giant Mickey waffles, because it’s served with salty caramel bananas foster sauce.
But today, we’re going to focus on this month’s Squirt cupcake – sweeeeeet!

Let me say first — Animator’s Palate was one of my favorite Disney restaurants ever. Hands down.
This place was pure F-U-N! From the decor and themeing to the interaction with Crush the turtle from Finding Nemo, I had a blast — laughing throughout the evening and truly enjoying the meal. I can’t wait to tell you about it…
Atmosphere
Those of you who have cruised on the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic cruise ships will remember that Animator’s Palate slowly transforms throughout the evening from black and white to color. However, on the Dream and the Fantasy, there’s a slightly different model in [Read more…]

You’d think I’d be used to Disney’s attention to detail by now, but every once in a while I’ll see piece of imagineering awesomeness and think to myself, “Well, heck. Will you look at that?!”
This morning, I was having breakfast at Cabanas, the Disney Dream cruise ship’s all-day dining area. While scurrying around to get my oatmeal and juice, a flash of color caught my eye. Mind you, I’d been to Cabanas many times at this point, but I’d never noticed this special addition…
These murals depicting seascapes and your favorite Finding Nemo characters are actually mosaics! They line several of the walls at Cabanas and can [Read more…]
