Disney World is known as The Most Magical Place on Earth.
And while this statement is true, sometimes wild, unbelievable, and creepy things take place at Disney World.
Magic Kingdom is Disney World’s most popular park on most days, home to the iconic Cinderella Castle, unforgettable attractions, and some of the most exciting entertainment.
One of the most popular events in Magic Kingdom is the Festival of Fantasy Parade! The iconic parade features huge, elaborate floats and includes characters like princesses, princes, heroes, Mickey and Minnie, an actual FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON, and more. If you’ve never seen it before, it definitely needs to be on your must-do list! For the past few months, this parade has only been happening once per day, at 3PM. But that’s about to change.
It’s no secret that Disney parades are beyond magical — for kids, for adults, and everyone in between!
And sometimes, we get extra special surprises during parade times. Sometimes it’s a Rainy Day Cavalcade if it’s raining outside, or other times, like today, a Disney celebrity leads the parade and waves to all the guests!
One of the absolute BEST parts of visiting Disney World is checking out the seemingly endless list of live entertainment.
From fireworks shows to parades, there’s some sort of live entertainment option in each of the Disney World parks, some even taking place multiple times a day. One of the most iconic parades to take place in Disney World happens each day at Magic Kingdom — the Festival of Fantasy parade! Each day at 3PM, you can catch all of the most beloved classic Disney characters as they dance their way from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A.. If you love the Festival of Fantasy parade, or you’re hoping to catch it for the first time on your upcoming Disney trip, you’re going to want to keep reading!
MORE change is coming to Disney World soon!
Magic Kingdom
We may still be feeling the raw emotions that come with bidding farewell to a classic attraction in Magic Kingdom, but Disney has announced even more changes will be coming to entertainment across the park. Just recently, we saw changes to the parade and cavalcade schedules. We hope you’re buckled in tight though because we’ve got quite the shake-up getting ready to happen and we’re telling you about ALL the changes!
Disney World entertainment is often unmatched.
Between stage shows, nighttime spectaculars, parades, and more — there is so much to see and take in while you’re in the parks. And, if you’re heading to Magic Kingdom soon, we’ve got an important update you might need to know about!
Magic Kingdom is FULL of excellent live entertainment.
In that park alone, you can catch the Dapper Dans singing on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire on the castle stage, and the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade rolling down the streets in the evening. However, perhaps the most popular offering is the Festival of Fantasy Parade which runs through the park.
Out with the old and in with the new seems to be Disney World’s motto these days.
A new meet and greet has officially arrived in Magic Kingdom, but that means we had to say goodbye to one of our favorites. After learning that a Mirabel meet and greet would be replacing the Merida one at Fairytale Gardens, we were left wondering what might happen to our girl Merida — and today, we happened to find her in an unexpected spot!
A fan-favorite activity in Magic Kingdom at Disney World is watching the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
This parade allows you to see an impressive array of Disney’s most beloved characters — from Cinderella, to Rapunzel, to Mickey and Minnie! Many Disney World visitors add this parade as a must-do on their Disney bucket list, and if you’re also hoping to catch the parade during your upcoming visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, then you’ll want to pay close attention.
There are a lot of places you’ll WANT to be during your Disney World vacation.
You’ll want to be on time for your dining reservations and Genie+ Lightning Lanes. You’ll probably want to be in front of Cinderella Castle at night for that perfect fireworks view. And of course, at some point, you’ll want to brave the gift shops to get that must-have souvenir. But there are also plenty of places you DON’T want to be in Disney World…and we’re sharing the details!
