We’ll be honest, summertime can be absolutely miserable in Disney World.

It’s hot and swampy, and if you’re not prepared for the weather, then you might have a challenging visit. But if you’ve got the right supplies, you can totally survive the summer! So today, we’ve rounded up our list of must-have supplies when you’re hot and sweaty in Disney World.
Hey, maybe we haven’t mentioned it, but it can get HOT in Disney World.
It gets hot in Disney World.
Okay, yes, we know we’ve mentioned it. We mention it every chance we can because we want you to be prepared for the heat and humidity. Even in the winter months, we can have some pretty hot days. That’s why we’re always telling you about making sure you stay hydrated, keeping a water bottle handy, getting that free water when you can, and doing everything you can to stay cool. Well, one of our favorite ways to stay cool in the parks is pretty popular…and for a very good reason!
It’s no secret that it gets HOT and humid in Florida in the summer!
A sunny day in Hollywood Studios!
That means that for people visiting Disney World in the summer, you have to be strategic about keeping cool and staying hydrated. Lots of breaks, plenty of water, and of course, sometimes we need a little extra help from special gadgets! In the past, we’ve tried cooling towels and hand fans to chill out, but recently, I tried a VIRAL neck fan in the parks…and it was a disaster.

World of Marvel — Ant-Man and The Wasp
We’ve seen him show off the shrunken version of “a bug’s land” (thanks to Pym particles) in Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort, and jump into action with guests aboard the Disney Wish. And now, the guy behind Ant-Man, Paul Rudd, gave a huge gift to another hero in need of some assistance.
Today we’re taking a trip to Hollywood Studios! What will we see along the way? Who knows!

Whether we’re shrinking down to the size of a toy, visiting a galaxy far, far away, or traveling back in time to the Golden Age of Hollywood, we typically have a wonderful time visiting this park!
