Sometimes technical issues cause Splash Mountain to go down, and other times Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has to close for a while due to some problems. Yesterday, it was Frozen Ever After’s turn as that is where one guest found a version of Anna that was a little…off (literally).
2020 has been FULL of surprises.

Some surprises have been great, some hectic, and some moments were highly entertaining. There were a few select moments that will go down in Awkward Disney World History. You know, the times where you sit back and say to yourself, “Wait, what just happened??” We think everyone is in need of a much-needed laugh right now. Let’s reflect on the moments that Disney hitched a ride on the Struggle Bus and made us seriously facepalm in the process.
We’re getting close to the day the sun will set on this wild year for Disney World and for all of us. 2020 has been…well…kind of weird in more ways than one.

Think: what would you have thought a year ago if we told you that Disney parks would spend a BIG portion of this year closed? What about that you’d be wearing a mask everywhere and hoarding toilet paper in 2020? It’s been…different. ? Well, we’re taking a look at some of the absolute weirdest things that happened in the parks in 2020!
It’s November 27th, and you know what that means — the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially started!

Now, Christmas is going to look a little different at EPCOT this year. Due to the global health crisis, Disney World has canceled its famous Candlelight Processional, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is undergoing some changes as well. You may not be able to meet Santa Claus or Anna and Elsa during this time, but Disney has gotten really creative with character cavalcades since reopening!
We’ve been really enjoying the Christmas season so much already, with beautiful decorations, cool seasonal merchandise, yummy holiday snacks, and of course, CHRISTMAS MOVIES!

And that includes watching Frozen, although there seems to be some debate out there. Does this flick count as a Christmas movie or not!

Just kidding! We’re actually reporting in from the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT! Earlier this month, we saw the return of the Frozen Sing-along in Hollywood Studios and we were so excited for another way to hang with Anna and Elsa. Now, a meet and greet with the Frozen sisters has returned to EPCOT, at a distance of course!
