Okay, we’re ALL Dole Whip lovers, aren’t we? There’s just something special about that Pineapple Swirl that always just HITS perfectly at Disney Parks. That combo of sweet and tart from the pineapple — well, it’s always THE snack to get. Yes, it’s trendy, but we would argue it’s trendy FOR GOOD REASON (it’s also a classic and never goes out of style). Mickey and Minnie’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is running from August 9th to October 31st on select nights, featuring rare character meet-and-greets, exclusive entertainment, ride rides with shorter wait times, and specialty food limited to the event. Pretty sure y’all have been waiting for this one…because I definitely have!! You might discount Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but I am here to tell you that YOU SHOULD NOT. This park is magical, y’all, and I’m going to prove it to you today!

I’ve always known that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is amazing, stupendous, incredible, insert-other-great-adjectives here. But now, I wanna make sure YOU know it, too! While many folks tend to write this park off as a half-day-er (which can be understandable, since it has fewer attractions than its three older sibling parks), you can EASILY fill a full day here, just by tracking down the AWESOME things we’re gonna talk about today!

What you’re about to see is a challenge of epic proportions. But for Dole Whip Day (July 18th), we pull out all the stops. We’re not afraid to take on the task, even if such an activity is probably easier when split between friends. When Dole Whip is involved, the gloves come off.

In honor of Dole Whip Day, we were invited to participate in Disney’s Dole Whip Dash. Think of it like a scavenger hunt, but just for Dole Whip treats. Now, THAT is a scavenger hunt we can get behind! But remember how we told you this was a BIG challenge? Well, you’ll understand why in a moment. We ate nine (!!!) Dole Whip treats in one day. Nine. Breakfast? Dole Whip. Lunch? Dole Whip? Dinner? You guessed it! Dole Whip! Dessert? Lobster Thermidor. Kidding! We had more Dole Whip. Behold — Dole Whip Day 2024: EXTREME Edition.

Things are heating up — literally — in Disney World
It’s summer in Florida, so OF COURSE, it’s hot. This year, though, we’ve already seen record-breaking temperatures, which means a day at the parks can be, well, sweaty and miserable. Now, we’re the first to make recommendations on ways to beat the heat while you’re in the parks (cooling towels, portable fans, staying hydrated, etc.), but we’ve got one surefire trick that always makes us feel better when we’re traipsing around Magic Kingdom on a hot day.
