NEWS: Room Refurbishment Coming Soon to Disney’s Contemporary Resort

There are quite a few construction and refurbishment projects going on around Disney World. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is currently undergoing a big refurbishment, with some Moana themed elements coming to its guest rooms in the future. The pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has also undergone some refurbishment, and there are other projects going on related to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and more!

Soon, another refurbishment project will be added to the list over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

A New Donut Shop Opened and Gideon’s Bakehouse Temporarily Closed in Disney World This Week

Disney World’s California Grill Adds FIVE Menu Items and Changes a Crowd-Pleasing Entree!

California Grill is a Signature Dining restaurant located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

It offers sweeping views of the Magic Kingdom, upscale menu items, and handcrafted cocktails. This is one of those places that you take the family for a nice dinner or a romantic date night. The menu has changed a bit since we visited for the grand reopening in July. Some allergy-friendly items have been added a quality entree has changed quite a bit. Let’s take a look at the changes!

Review! Is Seeing Characters Really Worth a 98% Price Increase at Chef Mickey’s in Disney World?

Since Disney World has reopened, character experiences have looked a bit different than before. This not only includes meet-and-greets in the parks but character dining experiences too!

That’s why as soon as we heard Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (one of the most iconic character dining locations in all of Disney World) would be bringing its characters back, we knew we had to check it out! While there were some issues originally trying to grab a reservation, we were lucky enough to snag one. This meal has been updated when it reopened in July, serving breakfast to your table as an all-you-care-to-eat meal, rather than the usual buffet.

Chef Mickey’s in Disney World Is Getting Some MAJOR Menu Changes When Character Dining Returns!

Starting tomorrow, December 16th, Chef Mickey and friends are coming BACK to Chef Mickey’s!

This fan-favorite character buffet restaurant reopened at Disney’s Contemporary Resort back in July with no buffet and no characters (but a much, much lower price). It also swapped its buffet for a family-style meal.
