That’s waiting in long lines for rides. Because I am fortunate enough to be in the parks so much, I often take the attitude that I can ride that ride anytime, so I will only jump in standby lines when they are short. But then I realize that it’s been awhile since I’ve ridden some popular rides, so I use Genie+ for a day or buy an Individual Lightning Lane to (hopefully) ride the most popular rides with shorter waits. That’s exactly what I did recently, and it reminded me that I should probably warn you about an important detail hat could derail your Disney World day!
It’s pretty easy to imagine that everywhere at Disney World is all sunshine and rainbows!

That’s pretty much true for just about anywhere you go on Disney World property. The resorts will blow you away with their theming and immersion. The restaurants will have you wishing you could eat there every day. And the parks — well, we’ll let them speak for themselves. That all being said, not every place in Disney World is great. In fact, there are some parts of Disney World that you should stay away from — at all costs.
This year is flying by, so can you really blame us if we’re already looking ahead toward the end of 2024?
EPCOT
While there are some EXCELLENT choices when you’re deciding which days to visit Disney World in 2024, some days you’re better off staying home. While it might seem like a ways away, if you’re planning on visiting in or around November, you should be prepared for one week when an entire state takes over Disney World!
Disney World can be pretty overwhelming and confusing, and it may feel hard to figure out where to begin.

If you find yourself in this situation, you may turn to people who have visited before/visited recently and ask them for advice. It’s a great idea to turn to them; HOWEVER…how much do you trust these people? Like, REALLY trust them? No, your Disney World trip isn’t life or death, but you are spending tons of money to have the best vacation you can, and sometimes if people lead you astray, it’s game over. If you hear any of the following tips, we advise you to RUN.
Planning and visiting Disney World can truly feel like you’re going on a treacherous journey at times. Halfway through this hot, grueling vacation, your feet might be covered in blisters, you’ve likely argued with your sibling for three days straight, and your only hope will be coming out unscathed.

Disney World is already expensive as is, and it’s about to get even pricier in 2025. Disney World just released its pricing schedule through October 2025, and we can confirm single-day tickets will be more expensive in 2025 than they were this year. If you’re looking to avoid some of those more expensive days (which can also feature bad crowds), you’ve come to the right place!
