If you need to refrain from booking another Disney World trip, this post is dangerous territory. That’s because we’re going over some super exciting changes coming to the parks!
While Epic Universe opens on May 22nd (and it completely blew our minds), there are some things all Disney fans should know before visiting in May 2025. So let’s get into it, shall we?
Spring has sprung which means it’s a fantastic time to visit Disney World! Okay, let’s face it — any time is a great time for a trip.
We know how overwhelming the planning process can be, which is why we do what we do — create guides that cover everything you need to know and keep you informed on the latest Disney news. And guess what? That’s what we’re here to do now!. So if you have a trip on the horizon, here are the biggest changes impacting Disney World in April!
It’s time to shake off the seasonal depression — spring is just around the corner!
Although March 20th can’t come soon enough, we’ve got Daylight Savings coming up on March 9th — yay for more sunlight! If that wasn’t enough good news, Disney World is seeing some exciting changes in March and we’re going to take you through the biggest ones now. Let’s go!
Disney World is our happy place!
EPCOT
There is so much going on in the theme parks with permanent closures, new lands coming, and more. Now EPCOT is about to change again and we couldn’t be more excited!
Disney World is home to some pretty intense crowd surges, but March 16th at Animal Kingdom could be a whole different level of chaos.
If you’re planning to visit Animal Kingdom on March 16th, you might want to steer clear of one very specific spot: the area around the Tree of Life, where It’s Tough to be a Bug! is located. That’s because March 16th marks the last day of showtimes for the long-running attraction before it permanently closes to make way for a brand-new Zootopia show. Let’s talk about why this is happening and what you can do to navigate the chaos.
Huge changes are coming to Animal Kingdom!
DinoLand U.S.A. is being transformed into a Tropical Americas-themed land named Pueblo Esperanza and will include three brand new attractions! These attractions include an Encanto-themed attraction, a carousel, and an Indiana Jones-themed attraction. But it is not only DinoLand U.S.A. that is changing. Animal Kingdom’s park icon, the Tree of Life is home to It’s Tough to Be a Bug! and the time has finally come — we have a closing date for this show.
2025 will be a year full of changes at Disney World.
While many changes have already been announced by Disney, including permanent closures, ride refurbishments, and new offerings, Disney Adults are holding out and hoping that even more changes will be announced for Disney World this year.
Y’ALL. WE DID IT. 2025 is nearly here!
It’s been quite the year for Disney, but they aren’t slowing down any time soon. Whether you’re a long-time fan or planning your first trip, there’s something new to look forward to across the parks. From ride closures to EPCOT festivals (hooray!) and beyond, here’s a look at what will be different at Disney World in the first month of 2025!
Disney World has a lot of changes coming in 2025, and sometimes it’s hard to keep track of them all.
Thankfully, we’re here to keep track of them for you to hopefully help lower the confusion around this upcoming year. There are lots of construction projects going on in all four Disney World parks, but some of them mean that certain rides are shutting down for good. If you’re visiting the parks soon, be sure to take one last ride on these before they go away!
